Sorry girls, it looks like Justin Bieber is off the market… if you even care. The Canadian pop singer is getting hitched to model Hailey Baldwin, which means it’s time to bet on all those fun prop odds surrounding this celebrity wedding.
After an on-again, off-again courtship, Bieber and Baldwin – or Bieb-Win… maybe Bald-Ber? – anyways, they’re getting married, with the couple announcing their engagement in early July. The combo of Pop Prince and Super Model always makes for interesting relationships, which is why oddsmakers have a long list of prop odds around the soon-to-be determined wedding.
You can wager on whether the two will tie the knot before the end of this year, taking the “Yes” the wedding will happen before the end of 2018 at -175 with the “No” coming back at +135. If you think the nuptials won’t happen until 2019, you can jump on that prop which is paying +150.
But given the pace that this relationship is on, it might be a smarter play to take the wedding in 2018 and a divorce by the end of 2019. What? I’m just sayin’ the kids are moving faster than Usian Bolt with his ass on fire.
Because this is a celebrity wedding, the guest list will be packed with familiar faces and the wedding parties should be too. Odds on Bieber’s Best Man see longtime friend Ryan Butler at the top of the board at EVEN money, followed by manager Scooter Braun and fellow pop singer Usher both at +300, rappers Lil Twist and Soulja Boy at +700 and +800 odds respectively, and boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. at +2000. Talk show host and massive Bieber fan Ellen Degeneres is a +5,000 long shot.
On the bride’s side of the aisle, Kardashian product Kendall Jenner is a runaway favorite to be Baldwin’s Maid of Honor at -200 odds. Her closest competition are models Bella Hadid and Mari McKinney at +200 and +400, as well as cousin and daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, Ireland Baldwin, who sits at +500 to be the M.O.H.
Those prop options are pretty sensible compared to the other Bieber-Baldwin wedding odds on the board, such as will Justin’s ex Selena Gomez attend the wedding, with “No” a hefty -500 fave. And staying with that old flame, you can wager on whether Bieber will cover up or remove the Selena tattoo on his forearm, with the “Yes” a -140 front runner.
And since Hailey Baldwin is of the famed family tree of Baldwin brothers – you know the ones: Alec, Billy, Stephen, ahhhh… Sleepy… Grumpy… and Doc? – bookies are having fun with props like “Will All the Baldwin Bros. be in attendance?” with “No” at -200, “Will Any of the Baldwins be working at the wedding?” – because you know times are tough for a couple of those guys – with “Yes” a +200 underdog… I feel like that should be higher… and “Will Alec assault a member of the paparazzi?” with that shit-show paying off at +200. Again, I feel like that should be higher…
Given some of these props, the Bieber-Baldwin wedding should at least be a wild party. I’ll be patiently waiting for my invite to come in the mail…
