J. Weaver makes the start tonight and he has been superb at home this season. He has a 1.56 era in all home starts this season and has been solid in his last 3 outings with a 1.64 era. He has Dominated the Texas lineup allowing no earned runs in 14 innings pitched here at home. Both of which were wins. Texas counters with D. Holland tonight. Holland has a dismal 6.48 era in his limited road starts this year and not surprisingly Texas has lost 3 of the 4 he has pitched away from home. LA has a solid chance of winning this one tonight.

Saints struggled offensively with Vikings and will be out to prove some offense. I would think the game will go too lopsided. The 49'rs Defense responds to 'Coach Drop your Pants' but can the talent deal with Brees and his tuned machine?
I also really don't think the sort of motivation the 49'rs have on defense works with such a lame offensive plan. At some point this year the 49'rs will learn to correct this. Just not in one week. On the other hand the coaching and play calling for the Saints is top of the line. They will be prepared and out to prove some offense. I like bigger games, players don't have the sleep problems that make them look ahead to the next game. Saints -5.5 Medium to Large + parlay opportunity with MLB LA Angels. Might even add the Yankees with a backup 2 way. |

Vikings are 9-0 at home with Favre but it should be 9-0 with the D.
The dome is loud and this will better fit Under Bettors. As far as the spread. -5.5 Minn. This is going to be a difficult game for Miami. |

Not sure about this game... Let's roll with Stanford. |

I love to read about bettors out smarting the books,
who are out smarting bettors... When a dog chases his own tail what will he catch? I know it helps dogs feel better. |

One of the top rushing teams in the country, Kansas State
has made its mark early on the ground. Daniel Thomas is a beast of a
rusher and I really think he continues his strong start to the season.
Both he and William Powell are a nice duo for the WIldcats, and they
along with an improving Carson Coffman under center will pull away from
the slumping Cyclones.
Iowa State has already turned the ball over six times in their first two games, with their quarterback Austen Arnaud prone to letting the mistakes cost his team. That's the difference in this game. Kansas State's backfield is flourishing and their production in this match-up puts them over the top here. Wildcats by double digits. So what if it's public knowledge. |

Game makes me Ill.
The Illini are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games and they aren't getting any respect in this match-up. Illinois might not be ready to challenge anyone in the Big Ten but they still have Big Ten talent and that is much more than we can say for Northern Illinois. UNI was crushed by Iowa State and they barely beat North Dakota. UNI is 0-6 ATS in its last six games and I don' think that they can keep up in this one. Ron Zook isn't much of a coach but he can recruit. And talent will win out in this one. -7 Illini Medium Bet |

The Bears have a high scoring offense and a good offensive mind in Jeff Tedford. Expect Cal to move the ball up and down the field all night against the porous defense of Nevada. The Wolfpack have really struggled when they have played BCS conference teams. Last season Missouri beat them at home and Notre Dame blew them out on the road. The season before that Texas Tech went into Reno and handled Nevada and Missouri blew them out on the road. California doesn't have far at all to travel and Nevada doesn't have a huge home field advantage. The Golden Bears also have some experience against Nevada's pistol offense by facing Oregon every season. While it's not the same, it's still the concept of an offense with a running and elusive quarterback. Look for the talent difference and Cal's passing attack against a very weak Nevada defense to be the deciding factors in this game.
Cal -2.5 medium bet

N.C. State is allowing just 248 total yards a game through two games and if the Cincinnati offense doesn’t get better real quick, they could get dominated tonight. I’m going to play the home team, lay the small chalk and go with the Wolf Pack.
Play N.C. State.

Close on total and spreads says small bet. I like the 2h bet idea too. Now with less at WR and attrition in the OL I'll follow a different concept. N. C. STATE 27-24.
