One last thing... If you can master this... You can master anything... The levels of mental strength needed to be a successful professional sports bettor are virtually unmatched in the real world. Mathematically speaking, you'd have a better chance surviving close combat conditions in a war torn country.
Once again... Good Luck. |

It can be done. However, prepare to forfeit your personal life. Professional sports betting sucks. High stress, unpredictable returns, living within the parameters of stress and fear (so much for realizing homeostasis). You're never truly at peace, because you're always worried about the outcome of your next bet.
Easiest way to be a successful pro... Lower your yearly living expenses, maximize your bankroll ($10,000 or more), lay your bets in increments of $100, NO PARLAYS, cash out your winnings on a weekly basis, and bank your winnings (minus living expenses) for a rainy day. There will be rainy days. With time, your bankroll will grow. In turn, your income will grow, but your can't force it. Stick to the routine. Variation in successful betting habits will most likely trigger losing streaks. If you want to test a system, test it without real money on the line. Good Luck. |

The interesting thing to notice is if you bet the 2 best teams all season long, TB and NY, you are up +1490. But if you bet against the worst teams, Pitt and Baltimore, you're winning +3692, almost 2.5 times more profit and you didn't need to do anything except place the bet. If you made those last 2 bets all season and only those teams and factoring in the time it took to make the bets (let's say an hour for the whole season) then you made as much as the CEO of Intel....3692/hr. How do I spend the $100 over the the course of the season? Do I divide $100 by 162 and lay roughly .61 cents on each game? |

If covers says that a team is +$1500 in team money for the season, what does that mean in terms of real money?
