Although the Metropolitans two through five in the lineup can go deep with the best in baseball, they are NO longer on the road playing in that Band Box called Wrigley Field. IF they win this game, they are going to have to earn it off of an EXCELLENT pitching staff (i.e. NO long ball cheapies in this Stadium tonight Ladies and Gentlemen).
With all that being said, put me down for Kansas City ML
(-103) at the house for a Nickel please.
Thanks! Congrats on the dumbest post of the day... How do you say the Cubs shouldn't have been there because they over achieved? They had the third best record in the MLB, while being the youngest team in the majors. In addition, they beat the Pirates, who had the 2nd best record in the MLB in on the road in the 1 game playoff. After that, they beat the team (Cardinals) with the best record in the majors 3-1. How can you honestly say they didn't deserve to be there? You clearly have no clue about baseball. So they got swept by the Mets, who are also a great team who peaked at the right time? What team deserved to be in the NLCS in lieu of the Cubs? I rarely post, but reading yours just makes me laugh at how stupid some people are.

Couldn't agree more. Why the Fuck would the Bulls try and defend that? Whats the difference to them if they win by 2 or 4? Has zero to do with the Bulls Defense. They are just as happy to win by 2 as they would be to win by 1 or 4. |

This is why betting basketball makes no sense... You mine as well take the $ you are going to wager and put it in a savings account. I can promise you will have more money in your bank account than you would by betting on this crap. Football I can understand, but still like flipping a coin. Basketball is just stupid gambling. Sorry, just speaking the truth. I can only hope walk the walk as much as I talk the talk. |

This is anything but Division 1 Football. The best Division 2 team (whoever the are) would take either of these teams to the wire. |

This game is the definition of what is wrong with the BCS system. Neither of these teams are close to being worthy of playing in a BCS game let alone being ranked in the Top 10. Both of their schedules are extemely week. Yes, they each beat a tier 1 FBS school this season in Oregon and Clemson, but they play one good team a year and treat it like it's their Superbowl where the other team looks at it as another game.
This game is a Joke and for the Announcers to say that the Defenses have been outstanding is ridiculous.
We need a damn playoff system, Until then the NCAA is a a feeeking Fraud! |

Wow... Got to imagine that your freinds aren't too happy about going to the wedding while all these great games are on. I would have to assume there will be a lot of cell phones out and head phones on during the "I do's" Good Luck! |

Based on your above comments I would have expected you to predict a score of 37-7 or something. Not 24-17 ??? |

HEDGE ZONA + THE POINTS FOR $25k. YOU WOULD BE GUARANTEED AT LEAST 25K AND YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN 80K IF PITT WINS, BUT DOESN'T COVER.
ZONA WINS STRAIGHT UP YOU WIN 25K ON THE BET AND LOSE $500 FROM THE PARLAY
PITT WINS BY 6 OR LESS YOU WIN 80K BECUASE YOU WIN THE PARLAY AND YOU COVER THE 25K FROM YOUR ZONA BET
PITT WINS AND COVERS YOU WOULD STILL WIN 25K BECASUE YOU LOSE THE ZONA BET
THERE IS NO QUESTION THAT THIS IS THE WAY TO GO ON THIS.

Let's be honest... Both of these teams have had their ups and downs this season Philly was lucky to tie Cincy and came minutes away from not even making the playouffs. They got a lot of help in week 17 from the Raiders and Texans. Zona has looked worse than the Lions a number of times this year.
Bottom line is either team can win this one... That being said, I think it makes the most sense to take the home team and the points. I also feel the ML on Zona is a strong play.

Please confirm when E. James won a Ring? He was not on the Colts when they won... |

Okay, maybe I came off a little harsh with the titel. A couple of Scotch's can do that, but there is no doubt that a majority of the threads on this site a for the favorites.
The uneducated gambler usually takes the favorite and let's be honest, the lines are set to make the gamble 50/50.
I gave my picks and am quite confident that I will come out at least 2-1 and most likely 3-0. Philly is my most confident play folloed by Dallas and lastly Detroit. I do hate betting on bad teams (Seattle/Detroit), but Seattle is a different team now. To me the Titans are not s good as their record and I feel Detroit covers this game.
Being that I don't usually post I dont have a record to prove my success, but can honestly say that I am defintely in the green this NFL season because I dont go with the Consensus on every game.
That being said I hope everyone takes my picks with a grain of salt as I do when reading others.
Good Luck to all whichever way you cheer...
