I do NOT think NIU should be in a BCS bowl game. This is not the Boise, Utah, TCU teams of the past the ran the table and trounced most of their opponents. OU is way more deserving. However, with all that said, I believe the Huskies can beat FSU. Lynch is the real deal if you have watched him at all. The Noles really haven't impressed me on the defensive side of the ball like they should, especially with the type of opponents they have played. Until I get to watch the best teams in the country play each for 3-4 weeks in a playoff I will not be satisfied. I can't even imagine the excitement level of watching the best teams in the country play each other in a playoff system. I have been to BCS games, and NC games and I truly believe these atmospheres would be so great for CFB. And not to mention the $$$ they would generate.

But to say OU is going to get "wiped off the field" is just comical. I think you should be more worried about the beat down Snyder and the boys are going to take in the desert.

Only place I have seen the +1 is in the USA Today. If you look, the total is NL which leads me to believe that the 1 should have been NL also. Game briefly opened at 9, Klein would not move the spread 10 IMO.

Sorry, bad grammar in earlier post. Basically, EVERYTHING is the same after a safety except the kickoff spot and the lack of a tee. I for one am a fan of never giving the ball to an opponent unless I absolutely have to. I can see everyday. These coaches have went through every scenario imaginable in their heads and have decided what they would do in that instance. Just a tough way to end the game from a betting standpoint.

Read your rulebook before you speak of things you know little about. Almost completely correct. You can onside a free kick but you cannot use a tee. All the rules of a kickoff are the same on a free after a safety. If the kicker wants to lay the ball on the ground and onside it then the can. If anyone is wondering, the rule is different in college, you can still use a tee after a safety but NOT in the NFL!

You couldn't pay me enough to refs these games right now. They are getting verbally raped by 22 players and 6 coaches on every single play.
