The over is looking great I will give you the fact that I got excited early, but to say the over is looking good when it's 1-2 points away at the half isn't a much more intelligent comment... BTW ...didn't see any of your picks pre-game |

Seattle obviously isn't going to stop the Saints. It would be 21-7 if Reg caught that ball....Here's to the Saints and over backers

Just can't get past how bad Seattle is. They are 7-9, no matter how tough their home field advantage is, they are 7-9 in a crap division. Hard to stay off the Saints even if the line moves to 14.

Interesting side note, everybody has been saying that Stallworth killed a person and got nothing, well today he was suspended for the season and possibly more according to sports illustrated. Secondly, Vick didn't do the time for dogfighting. Most of his sentence was for tax evasion for not reporting the income from breeding and fighting to the IRS. Third, Samuelsosa, I couldn't agree more. T-Jack is possibly the worst starting QB that I have seen since Leaf. I actually feel bad for the Vikings fans that surround me in the Twin Cities. That team is so close to being a SB contender even if they could just get a Dilfer type guy. Hopefully the purple fans will see Sage starting opening day. |

Ok thanks guys, things make more sense the way they are explained now. Affording the 6 game loss was one of my main concerns. It can get to a huge amount in a hurry. Kreatture and Prof8t thanks for taking the time. Best of luck lads!

Yeah I mean, beating the Packers/Favre in Lambeau field when It actually meant something shows how bad he is. Or how he throws more TD's than picks. People make it seem like the guy is Ryan Leaf
Actually born in LasVegas, lived in Brooklyn until(25)and currently living in Minnesota. What does being from Minnesota have to do with Vick hate? I could give two craps about Favre or the Packers and I really don't get the point of that. I'm not saying he's Ryan Leaf, I'm saying he's average. 53% completion for career. And nearing 30 yrs old it's a risk, conviction or not, since he hasn't played in two plus years. |

My beef is that i am trying to use the system and it seems that the rules keep changing. When the six game chase loses, you can't now say to break it up into 2 or 3 game chases. I'm just trying to understand and make a buck just like the rest of us. I'm not the only one asking questions of how the system works, and you're normal response is to ignore us, or act like you're being attacked, I'm not trying to crash any party, just sincerely curious how it is working.

I will be writing a little bit about how to play these systems in the days ahead since it's really hard for me to do so with such limited time after I get off work (which happens to be now). For now, keep these few concepts in mind.
1. You are better off playing the Labouchere method for this chase system.
2. If you are playing the Labouchere method, you need to break down the 6-game chase into two or three game chases.
3. Be prepared to allocate losses in other methods, such as reinvesting them into larger labouchere lines, or other systems or plays.
4. Diversify your selections. Play more than one system. It also wouldn't hurt to follow a good handicapper or two if you can't pick straight plays.
More to come...
If you are playing two or three game chases, then how is the record 64-1. In reading the entire thread there have been many times that this "system" was on game 4 or higher. How do you get ot game four with two or three game chases? |

Where do you get the numbers needed when handicapping a game like tonight's BoSox game, when the pitcher is coming up from AAA? Thanks.

So this system is even for the year then? 60-1
1 unit lost (-1)
2 unit lost (-3)
4 unit ;ost (-7)
8 unit lost (-12)
16 unit loss (-28)
32 unit loss (-60)
Or is my math bad?

Maybe I worded it poorly, I guess what i am getting at is that many guys like say Jim Harbaugh have similar numbers, he just didn't do it with flair. Is it your argument that Vick is a top tier QB? The stats don't agree. Chris Pauls stats show he is a great pg. If Vick was such a great talent he'd be in a camp now. There are plenty of owners that have drug addicts, rapists, wife beaters and guys with manslaughter and/or homicide convictions. If a guy has enough talent they will take the chance on him. Note my argument has nothing to do with the ethical/moral implacations of Vick's crimes. My feeling is that he's not worth the risk on the basis of the combination of having average qb skills in his prime, and missing two years of live football. |

If you had a choice between someone raping your mom or sister or girlfriend , or killing 1000 pitbulls with a hammer, what would you choose? You would have those dogs lined up and be a hammering s.o.b ...... get a grip people... Of course we would choose to kill the dogs to save our mother/sister/wife. I don't think michael vick was faced with that decision though. |
