What up Mak! Just wanted to wish you a belated happy holidays & happy new year, and thank you for the great work you put in. I don't wanna blow you too much but really you are the only reason worth coming to covers for. I'd rather read the season previews you post than anything else I could purchase on the newsstand, its far more entertaining and informative. Your the best, thanks again & good luck with your plays tonight and always, peace!

Looks like Peng withdrew, just went to throw more on Petkovic but so much for that.

Pova -150 or higher would probably work out well for the books because it'd get pretty much 100% Wozzy action, and like I said, Pova will win! But Woz has to be the fave here, no? Pick 'em worst case, but I personally I'm expecting to see Woz at -125.

Just put on Tips vs Monsfils, dont watch much mens especially this early in a tourney but it sounds like its a good match. I dont like Monfils, I never saw Tips play & assumed I'd be cheering for him, but man after a first glance I really hate Tips. I dont know if its the black socks at a really dumb length (pulled up a bit high but below the calf), lame 1980's style shorts that are riding high above the knee, double wrist band look, that awful grey shirt with patches under the pits, the really dark glasses on a day that doesnt seem sunny, the bowl haircut w/ handband, the 1st name 'Janko'..,man I hate this guy, finish him off Monfils!

Anyone like Utah to win this conference?! Is it worth a shot at 11/1? I heard Teddy Covers saying that he likes Utah's chances to win it and that its a great value play, it should be around 4 or 5 to 1, just wondering what the opinion around here is? I'd be lying if I said I knew anything about college football, just lookin to get involved in some futures, is Utah a good play or is big bad TCU unbeatable?

I use & reccomend supersportsgood.com
They come from overseas, comes out to about $30 a jersey including shipping to your door, really amazing quality for what you pay, everything is stitched & good quality. My last order I got a Favre Vikings, Buehrle White Sox & Lamar Odom Los Lakers, came to like $82, great value! |

I hate cops as much as anyone, and it sucks you got a ticket, but are there really parts of Canada that require you to walk the streets with a golf club?? Mabye there are, I dont know, but if your walking around looking for trouble like that it ususally finds you, no matter where you are. And if you must walk the streets with a piece, put the Johnny Drama Calloway away & use a louisville slugger like a real fuckin gangster!

I think it differs from place to place. In Canada if you work at the casino you cant play there at all, none of your family members can play at tables your dealing at, and theres lots of strict rules. But in Michigan you can play at the casino you work at, and most do. When lots of the poker dealers there arent working, they are still there at the poker pit playing there and slamming back beers. But the Canadian casino is run by the Ontario government, and the Michigan casino is on Indian land.

Interesting theory, and I'm sure it greatly differs from player to player. If I was on tour, I'd probably be affected the opposite way. I'd imagine the more I desired the place I'm playing, the worse I'd perform and the less I'd care about tennis. In Monterrey I'd be out chasing senoritas all night and probably wouldnt even know who I was playing against until I showed up for my match about 15 mins before it, probably still drunk & high. I'd be really interested in Dubai too. Really intrested in exploring it and trying to find me a Sania Mirza, and probably not so interested in my pending matches. On the other hand, if I was in China or Africa or some desert or somewhere I wasnt really that interested in being, what else am I gonna? Focus on tennis, try to win as many matches & get as many points as possible I guess? Bad enough I have to be there, I might as well get something for my troubles. I dunno, its all about individual tendencies I guess. Younger players will handle situations differently the older ones with familes most likely. But surely there is something to your theory BP. Anyone who thinks these players train exactly the same, and care about each match exactly the same is a damn fool.

Tennis in the rain is really uncool. Not fun for anybody involved. Baseball could be fine, they are big babys about playing in the rain but its honestly not a big deal, soccer is awesome to play in the rain, but tennis, definitely not a good idea.

Briefly considered a hedge after the 1st set when Wozzy was +490 to win. Then I said fuck it, obviously Kirilenkos gonna win, I just hope Woz doesnt retire in the 2nd so my point spread bet cashes as well as moneyline. Obviously Woz comes back and wins in 3. The wta strikes again! |
