Can you guarantee that two air traffic controllers won't behave in a negligent manner? The answer is no, you can't. Bingo. 100% agree. If human error is inevitable, then we should have a third person to supervise the other two. You know, like you see on every AFSCME work site. Two union hacks supervising one person working slowly. It seems the reponsible thing to do is to just stay awake. It is unacceptable to fall asleep on the night shift at Walmart and someone entrusted with thousands of lives can surely fulfill his obligation to stay awake. |

Shows how untalented a singer Fergie is when she is not electronically enhanced. This is worse than karaoke

What a colossal fucking waste of time. Whoever runs against this jackass next election should log how much time this guy wasted on this issue. Any wonder average citizens hate and don't trust politicians.

I see all these tablets in the under $200 range. Anyone own one and have anything positive to say? It would be just something to use with wifi to check emails, read news, and possibly play a little online poker when I am on the road. Just entertainment that would be a step up from my smart phone. I would be open to a netbook as well if that would suit my needs better. I would be willing to spend up to $300 on a either one. I would prefer a tablet but I just would like someone with some techie knowledge to recommend one or the other.

Just Booked Cabo For End Of Feb. Anyone Been There And Have Some Must Dos or Sees
in General Discussion
Ok This would not have been my choice for a vacation but my buddy is getting hitched and asked me to be in the wedding. We will be staying at the Sheraton Hacienda so if anyone has any experience with this place let me know. The reviews I read say it is nice but the food and drinks are waaaay overpriced. Any suggestions would be great for restaurants, nightlife, and excursion type things.

Hardcore Pawn is some greasy white trash taking advantage of their loud mouth ghetto trash clientele. Saw a couple episodes and thought it was hilarious. Not sure if you could find a less likeable bitch than the daughter.
Don't you hate when a show gets hot and all of a sudden there are several horrible knockoffs. Pawn Stars has spawned some aweful pawn show rip-offs. The next hot thing will be the Storage War type show. Look for a bunch of shows like this coming up.

You wanted CHANGE; YOU GOT IT!!! 111th Congress Added More Debt Than First 100 Congresses Combined
in Politics Why don't you just tell CD329 why he is wrong rather than toying with the poor boy? CD here is what he is saying: 101st Congress Jan. 3, 1989 (Dec. 31, 1988) 2,684,392,000,000.00 This means that the sum of the first 100 congresses was the above total $2.684 trillion. The new debt under the 111th was $3.22 trillion dolars. 3.22 trillion is greater than 2.684 trillion, therefore his math shows that the 111th congress racked up more debt than the first 100 congresses combined. Class dismissed. |

So raising the cost of doing business by increasing taxes would have lowered prices on gas, food, housing, tobacco, alcohol...etc? What economics class did you take? Simple economics and business sense will tell you that a business owner is going to have a profit margin as part of their business plan. So if you raise their cost of doing business (like increase taxes for example) they will simply raise the price of the end product to maintain profit margin. The other option to maintain net profit is even worse. That is to cut costs. And any of us who have ever managed a business know the quickest way to cut cost is control your controllables. Number one controllable is labor. Lower wages, cutting hours, and hiring fewer workers are the end result. Lesson on business 101 for Donjuan is going to fall on deaf ears I'm sure. That would involve him admitting he has no clue and proves it every day in his liberal rants. |

Oh and congratulations to DonJuan and his fellow liberals on another colossal victory that will no doubt create or save millions of jobs. Or so they will claim.

Why is Bush responsible for something that happened nine months in to his term and liberals can't take responsible for Obama's debacle 22 months in? Kind of ironic when you look at it that way. Bush is responsible from day one while you give your golden boy a two year free pass. |

I could possibly see a case for LG winning one round. I thought Nam shut him out and not even a question won 2 of 3 rounds easily.

(Now they will not extend unemployment benefits any further, thanks to Repulsicans.) This is happening around the country. In Florida, I see many people now working on infra-structure jobs. There are signs, saying, "Jobs provided by the stimulus package." Now, the shopping malls are looking busier and busier each time I visit.Thank God. Benefits need to be extended a little longer. Who's the gullible one here? If you want to bust on people for believing in false advertising take a look inside those projects with all those wonderful signs. ( signs that cost millions to produce BTW). Now ask: Are those people working on these projects freshly hired, or merely current employees just re-allocated from other projects? And if they are freshly hired specifically to work on these projects, what happens when the project is done and the govt. money runs out? Aren't they just temps then? Thanks for your brilliant analysis on the malls being busier. What a shock the malls are busier as we near the holidays. |

In the history of the world how many times has this happened where passengers have been held on a plane by an Airline for 8+ hours? You, like a typical liberal, take an isolated case, run with it like this is standard operating procedure. Then feel a stupid isolated case like this is worthy of congress creating laws to legislate common sense, instead of real issues. |

Don't you need an ID when you register to vote? I don't get the arguement against it. Like minorities do not have any IDs? How does one cash a check, do banking, write a check...etc w/out an ID?
