I saw the spread for this game and thought to myself....'well, this can't be right.' 3 points? Seriously? KC is only giving away 3? Normally, when I feel that a line is off, I put money on the other side. But to put money on Washington, after watching how horribly they been playing these last few game...I told myself that I wouldn't do. Now I see that it's your pick of the week...I'm reconsidering. I really can't see myself pullin the trigger on this game though. But that's probably why you're having an undefeated season and I'm trying to break even...Best of luck to you. Just keep winning...

First off, BIG thanks to you LeRinkRat for introducing this fade the Hilton concept. It's been extremely helpful. Now here's to another winning week courtesy of the hilton contest. My picks for Top 5...
Kansas City Carolina Tampa Bay Baltimore Pittsburgh Really hoping the last 3 makes the list cause Cleveland, Detroit, and Jets are my Top 3 leans of the week. |

Why mess with a winning formula? Ride it til the wheels fall off...Jets +3.5.

Dude, awesome year. Love your write ups and it pains me to see you on Atlanta. But all your points are valid and if I may add something to it...Saints are 0-4 in Thursday Night Football games. BOL to you the rest of the season. May you remain undefeated.

When you have the refs on your side, anyone can be the best in this league...I seriously still can not believe what happened. especially the non-holding call on that last play on whoever was blocking Junior Galette. That would've ended the game right there but no, they can't let Brady go down like that on an offensive penalty Not Tom Brady, the best qb in nfl history...

that was a horrible call...stole a first down away from the Saints.

And the refs just stole a first down away from the Saints...

Started a separated thread talking about my leans for this week...
https://www.covers.com/postingforum/post01/showmessage.aspx?spt=21&sub=101710131 I ended up betting those leans... Kansas City -7.5 Pittsburgh +2.5 New Orleans +1 Tennessee +13.5 plus added Cincinnati -6.5. I shouldn't have done that...ended up 2-1 this morning, with Saints and Titans pending...bringing my record to 18-12. Leaning towards the Cowboys tonight but for now...Let's go Saints and Titans! |

Love the New Orleans pick and considered the San Fran pick as well. May even pull the trigger on them after reading your write up. Good luck to you sir.

Ok. I didn't start off week 6 in the green, but I could have. If Chicago would've taken the 3 from the first int, I would've covered. But total moot point cause a L is a L no matter how you got it. 16-11 on the year now and starting the week off in red. Gotta get back in the green. This week I'm looking at...
Kansas City -7.5 Pittsburgh +2.5 New Orleans +1 Tennessee +13.5 Kansas City is for real and Oakland isn't. Still, the public is on Oakland at 71%. That makes me like this pick even more. Pryor got to showcase his skills on prime time and has the public beliving. While Alex Smith goes about his business and just win games. People are waiting for Smith to fail and I don't see that happening. Especially not this week. At home, in Kansas City. Pryor is good but he has no one to back him. Smith has a defense that's ranked 7th overall, Jamaal Charles, who can beat teams on the ground and in the air, and Andy Reid as his head coach. Andy is familiar with an athletic qb as he coached Vick for 3 years in Philly. I believe he'll know how to stop Pryor. This is looking more and more like a pick for me instead of a lean. Just like Pryor, Geno got to showcase his skills on prime time as well. Causing 75% of bets to go in their favor. And I'm pretty sure Pittsburgh 0-4 start helped out with that as well. But Pittsburgh had an extra week to prepare for Geno and the Jets and I believe they are eager to come out and get their first win. And with Bell healthy and giving Pittsburgh a running game, Ben will have a better chance of getting the ball to his receivers. Pittburgh's defense will make Geno panic and create turnovers and that's a recipe for success. Diehard New Orleans Saints fan here and I just don't see us losing this game. Besides the fact that they are ranked 4th in total offense and 11th in total defense, they are underdogs. I know New England is New England and they are a great team but we are going into our bye week undefeated. Patriots are ranked 16th in total defense but 18th in total offense. The defense relies on Brady to score so they can take chances and create turnovers. But if the offense can't take advantages of turnovers, what good are they? We will get to Brady and score on their defense. Can Brady keep up with Brees? Can their defense stop our offense? I don't think Brady or their defense can, and I'm willing to put money on that. Tennessee kept up and nearly beat KC last week but fell off towards the end. This week they play Seattle in Seattle and that's gonna be tough. Seattle is almost impossible to beat at home but -13.5?? I believe Tennessee's defense is good enough to keep this game close. And even though I believe Seattle will win, I don't see them covering the spread. These are just leans at the moment but all 4 could possibly end up being official picks. Either way, feel free to discuss. Feedback is always appreciated.

Went 4-2 last week bringing my record to 16-10. Let's keep it in the positive for Week 6. Tonight I'm on
Chicago -7.5 It's just hard for me to put money down on the Giants this year. I see Da Bears scoring at will and Giants falling behind early leaving the game in Eli's hands. Meaning Da Bears picks off Eli a couple time and maybe even scoring off a turnover. That should be enough to cover the spread. At least, that's how I'm picturing it. Good Luck to everyone tonight. Let's start week 6 off in the green! |

Started this week loving the Bengals. I thought them giving away points was fishy. With the public backing NE hard, I really liked the pick. Then the line starts moving in their favor, making me think that maybe Vegas is trying to lure us into betting Cincy so the play has to be NE right? Then NE is the most played team in the hilton contest...I'm conflicted. Also loved Indy this week and Indy is 2nd most played team in the hilton contest...I got some thinking to do..
