BIG. With this win, they are 36-70. If that doesn't qualify as terrible in your book, I'm not sure what to tell you my friend. For the record, I have always followed my intuition when betting and today it was wrong on 2 of 3. I have gone opposite and faded great teams in the past when I saw opportunities. One of the most notable bets I have ever made against a juggernaut is taking the Giants in '07 in the superbowl Pats. That Pats team was flat out NASTY, and all my friends who watched me put down my wager on the +13 spread thought I was crazy and throwing money away. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but I won't deviate from my strategy. This win was a FLUKE by Astros. |

It's particularly true tonight for the Rays and O's. At least the Mets are competing and have similar # of hits. The O's are getting outhit by 10 and the Rays are getting outhit by 6 both at home against an unknown pitcher on a bad team. |

Sports gambling is exactly that...it's gambling. Be disciplined enough to stay away from the large favorites and pick your spots.
There is definitely money to be won in bases....
Absolutely. I have bet my share of underdogs and not just lay the wood on favorites. In this spot though, I couldn't touch the Astros, even with the value. In a 162 game season there will be some unconventional nights, tonight is one of them. In the long run, the better team will prevail. Tonight in all three of these games the better team is getting destroyed. |

I think more in MLB then any other sport. |

I can't describe in enough words how DISGUSTED I am @ the Orioles tonight. Being from this area and having seen many of their games live @ Camden Yards, I have spent time and money on this team. The one day I happen to put down decent action on them at home with a good pitcher, against a no-name pitcher and a terrible team, I get this type of absolute sh*t performance. This team is an embarrassment to a -250 moneyline. NEVER again am I taking this team on a ridiculous moneyline, no matter who they play. Lesson learned. |

F*ck Overholzer! Pitching a gem out of his a** plus a little help from the overrated Orioles! It would not surprise me if this guy gets shelled in his next game.

Agreed. F*ck the Orioles, Rays, and Mets!! 3 teams I picked today where I saw myself going 2-1 at worst. Anything other than 0-3 on these assclowns would be a miracle!

- Orioles -250 ML down 9-0 to a team 24 games worse than their record - Rays -190 ML down 4-0 at home - Mets at -225 on the RL down 3-0 Baseball is a god damn joke on some nights where sh*t is just f*d up and there is absolutely NO logic. If losing a bet, one can at least hope for a fighting shot of winning, but these f*ng teams tanked so bad that before 5 innings there is NO HOPE. Such BS! No wonder Vegas keeps building f*ng casinos!! |
