OLE Miss - 115 ML
Experienced Guards who will create match up problems. UTAH with a nice win over Mizzou- which i think helps this line. have it -5 Ole Miss. Oakland +9 A team full of seniors will get up for this game against a relatively weaker Case team than previous years. BOL to anyone who tails.

Utah is a tough place to play.
I personally think this line is begging for Warriors money. Proceed with caution. |

Iowa is the better team. Can't trust Cuse right now.
Interested to see what the total looks like.

What I was saying is that I don't believe Syracuse to be the 2nd best team in the nation. They are ranked #2 currently because of the losses other teams have. (All of which have played tougher competition.)
Either way, Line hasn't budged yet, so it would appear Vegas is quite comfortable with the money coming in on Cuse -4. I stand by my read. |

My thoughts are that Nova has the more impressive resume this far of the two teams.
I believe that Villanova will be able to neutralize Tyler Ennis. One of Nova's best defenders is his brother Dylan Ennis who will undoubtedly know his tendencies, and will surely pass those along to the coaching staff. (Huge wrinkle.) I've watched all of the top teams play multiple times and based on my eye-test; there isn't a more complete team at this point in the season. Their defence, toughness, chemistry and willingness to make the right pass/play has overwhelmed all of their opponents. My only concern is if Cuse can get their front court going and negate the rebounding advantage that the small Villanova team has enjoyed up until this point in the season. Coleman can be a load and had a big game last year in this matchup at home. Last year they put Yarou in the hight post in the middle of the 2-3. This year I can see them putting Bell/Pinkston/Hilliard/Jenkins/Hart who can all make that jump shot. If all of the big name teams hadn't fallen early, Cuse wouldn't be ranked #2 and had 'experts' actually given Nova more credit (No 25 love, no Naismith love, no All Big East 1st team love) they could conceivably be ranked higher than they are right now. +4 right now, but my book won't have it up until it's been bet down to +2 and I'd still play it. Villanova wins this game outright. |

Clearly a NIU backer started this thread. Let it go... BG did everyone a huge favour by taking this team out of a BCS bowl.

I think Villanova wins this game outright. Until odds makers realize that Villanova 'could' be the the best and most complete team in college hoops, you're going to find alot of value backing them. I've seen every team multiple times this year and I don't think there is a team with better toughness, chemistry, defence and depth than Villanova. Syracuse is the default #2 team in the nation because everyone else has stumbled thus far this year. I do worry a bit about the Coleman/Keita/Grant/Fair frontline being able to limit Nova on the boards - which has been how they've dominated most opponents. The eye test tells me that Nova is the better team, just hope they prove it on Saturday. |

Rahon with the fuckin' foul w/ 9.2 left to kill the tease @ +7.
Won't touch BC again. Burnt me too many times this year. WORST D i've seen all year is being played by this team.

I would download this game to watch it eventhough I know the result. Very curious to get a good look at both teams in this type of environment.
Nobody on Villanova was talked about in the off season. They were completely left off of everyone's top 25. It's nice to see them go out there and take their respect from people. |

Thank you. Want to see the game, but TSN2 bricked when Wiggins went home.

I think Memphis is getting alot of early season pub because of their recruiting class and the talent overall of the roster.
This is a bad matchup for Memphis IMO. I'm on LSU - think their guards can stay in front and the LSU front court should be considered the best in the SEC. Tigers + 3 for me.

I think Memphis is up against a set of guards that can stay in front of them and a talented front court with depth and size that King/Nichols/Goodwin hasn't seen yet this year.
BOL.

ExAreSee - I like the outlook. No play for me, but definitely prefer Drexel and their team make up to Bama.
Even with Damion Lee out they're a threat. |

Advantage Ole Miss outside, Advantage GT inside.
If it comes down to shot making, I give Ole Miss the advantage. I've seen Tech and they were pretty sloppy with ball and definitely looked like they needed sometime to gel. No play for me, but I'd lean Ole Miss.
