I seldom post here, but after reading this drivel I had to comment. If you had ever bothered to read this guy's threads, you would realize what an asset he is to this site. If you're going to be that disrespectful, please shut up. |

True he's historically better on the road but look again at his September starts.....ERA 1.99 Siera 2.95 fip and xfip both under 3.00...the guy is hot right now, and he's been missing bats.....I think he pitches well today, and if he has the lead after five innings the Giants are dead against the Reds rested bullpen...... |

Agree totally, but the odds probably make it a no play for me....I just don't like laying more than -130..... |

Not sure where you found that stat, Bailey's postseason experience is two scoreless innings out of the bullpen in the Reds' loss to Philly in 2010 |

If you look at metric numbers like xfip, fip, siera, over the last 30 days Homer Bailey is among the best pitchers in baseball. He's not a weak link by any measure. That along with the rested bullpen (best ERA in baseball) makes me think the Reds end it today.

Agreed with Burly. Ignore the haters. Trends/systems are a valuable tool to assist the handicapping process, along with a good set of homemade power ratings, and statistical analysis. Please continue posting these.
