I think Miami steam rolls them.

Me too.  That's usually what happens to a team that wins a game they didn't deserve to win.  Clemson coaches handed that game to them on a silver platter, and they think they're way better than they are.  Canes are gonna kill 'em.  LOL.

I know how you love that saying, BA.

You're not paying attention.  Cuse lost to MTSU because MTSU had a former insider helping it prep for the Syracuse game.

Syracuse showed me nothing on Friday.  They were gifted the game by a Clemson staff that elected to play, first, the injured starter who obviously should not have played and, second, an absolutely awful quarterback who might be the worst QB Clemson has put on the field since I started paying attention circa 1973.  Meanwhile, a 5-star who lit it up just one week ago was glued to the bench.

Refs were on Clemson?  Clemson coaches were on Cuse.  That's how they won.

My Top 10 (just opinions from eye test, not trying to win a debate)
1. Clemson -- ugly vs Wake but easy
2. Alabama -- ugly vs Aggies but easy
3. Georgia -- nasty squad, like this team
4. Washington -- just plugging away under cover up in Pac NW
5. TCU -- WVU put up a good fight
6. Penn St. -- beat another bad team from the Big 10, shocker
7. Auburn -- great defense & improving offense with below avg scheme
8. Oklahoma -- bad loss, will see what they are made of now
9. Ohio St. -- can't rank them ahead of OU who beat them in the shoe
10. Ok St. -- explosive QB to WR combos, must improve in trenches

close but not quite
Miami -- big comeback over hated rival
Wisconsin -- are what they are, stop their run & you win, nice team tho
Wazzu -- can't put them top 10 yet, need more wins
Notre Dame -- good squad, need QB back
USC -- haven't reached potential, prob lose to Irish depending on health

I can't find much to disagree with there.  Good luck this week.

LOL'd at that Pitt/Cuse play.

Enjoyed the wry observation about ULL.

EXTREMELY different.  ENTIRELY different.

That margin of victory was due to the letdown off the OT loss at Clemson.  NC State was a complete no-show in that game.  It's completely irrelevant for purposes of capping this game.

Saban and Mullen are safe.

I have a hard time getting to five SEC coaches who will be gone by next year, but I only see 3 or 4 coaches who have shown that they meet or exceed the standard of performance typically expected of a coach a their respective schools.  With another one or two, it's too soon to tell.  The rest need to go.

ULL is a no-brainer here.  I couldn't agree more.  I even took a flyer on the moneyline.  Hey, it happened in 1995.  Of course, USL had Jake Delhomme throwing to Brandon Stokley, and the game was in Lafayette, but the line was about the same because A&M was so much better at that time than they are now.

And the last time A&M faced one of these Louisiana directinal schools was 2014 when they beat ULM 21-16 in a situation where the scores are typically in the range of 73-10 and 80-8.

It was 7 of 14, not 8 of 15.  And three of those "one-score" games were games where the losing team scored last.

Did they need Watson?  Clemson was 13-2 in one-score games in 2011-2015, including 4-1 in 2015.

That makes 11-2 for Watson, 2-1 for Stoudt, and 7-0 for Boyd in one-score games since the start of the 2011 season.

Maybe I do have you mixed up with someone else, which is good because you seemed to have some good insight on a couple of games.

And no I am not sold on Kelly Bryant or the offense yet.  That's why they play the games.  And I will not be betting on this one.

He didn't just blow the lead -- he blew it by playing a true frosh when he had an experienced and capable backup ready to go.  And then after the kid couldn't get the job, he was too stubborn to sit him down in favor of Hubenak.

Auburn is a top-10 team.  That doesn't qualify as "good" in your book?  You've shown your irrational Clemson hatred repeatedly in the last few months.  Just get over it already.

Ha ha -- I just did a little reading on the history of Gettysburg football.  First game was at home against Dickinson in 1879.

Dickinson screwed up their calendar and showed up a week early.  Gettysburg hurriedly put together a team and beat the visitors 11-6.

That Arkansas game was really a 7-point game.  TCU has Oklahoma State on deck.  Kind of a flat spot for TCU.
