Ok, if you had any prejudged view of the color of the skin of the individuals listed, by rule, you are a racist. That’s what society will tell you, if you have any preconceived notion of skin color when you get a description of someone, you are a racist. I have no idea what color either one of those are, but I did the research, and the research says that if you put in those stats, 100% have been both black and white. See, color of skin don’t matter, LIFESTYLE matters. Black people take piano lessons and graduate top of their class and White people play basketball and are fast.
Stop using the Race Card to argue real issues and make excuses. Since 1978, do you know how many D-1 Football teams have won the National Championship with a White Running Back as their #1 runner? Take a guess. Come on Al, how many? One. LSU, 2007, Jacob Hester. Does that mean College Coaches are racist against white running backs? You tell me.
In major Sports and major business, WINNING matters. And believe me, skin color don’t matter, all that matters is winning and if you don’t give us the best shot at winning, we going with someone else. Art Rooney of the Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t hire Mike Tomlin BECAUSE he’s black, he hired him because he wins. And Cam Newton should slide down the draft board, not BECAUSE he’s black, but because he’s not talented enough as an NFL QB to warrant that stock.
If coach had put me in the game in ’88, we’d a won state. I can throw a ball over that mountain. But, he was an ANTI-SEMITE!!
Hope You Enjooyed it...let us know your take!!

No, not because of his skin color. But because he’s played one way his whole life and in the NFL, you have to drop back 7 steps, check down 3 receivers, look off the free safety, and hit Scott Lambert dragging across the middle. O, and that drag that Scott did in High School was open by 4yards, but in the NFL, he’s open by 2 Feet, and that’s wide open. You see what I’m getting at? You see, Tom Brady doesn’t have more Super Bowl Rings than all the Black QB’s put together because of his skin color, he has more rings because he CAN’T do the things that those Black QB’s can do. Brady has had to do the same drop, the same throw his whole life and it fits in the NFL.
Let me put out some fires of people reading this and screaming, “He’s an Anti-Semite!”. I love Tim Tebow! He fits all the categories of the aforementioned QB’s, except for one thing. He’s white. Where are all the people screaming racism?? Tebow was not a top 8 pick, he didn’t deserve to be a top 8 pick because he has the same flaws. He has tucked and ran his whole life and never learned to play an NFL style QB. So, it’s going to take time to learn. NFL teams knew that and that’s why he dropped way low.
The same applies to Cam Newton, and everyone that preceded him that was a run first qb, you deserve to get drafted, you deserve to play in the NFL, and you deserve a shot to win a Super Bowl, you just don’t deserve to be a top 8 pick. And it has zero to do with skin color and everything to do with the athletic culture to which a person is raised.
Let’s do a little test, I’m going to give you 2 scenarios and you tell me what color skin the person I’m describing has. 1) Man that guy is so fast. I’ve never seen someone at the QB position outrun the entire defense. He’s unstoppable. You know Marge, he was an All-American Basketball Player in High School, he once dunked a ball in a game from the free throw line. He actually committed to play Basketball at Univ of North Carolina before deciding to play only football and attended Virginia Tech. 2) We are so proud of you Winston, you graduated Top of your Class and have received a full scholarship to Tulane University for Medical School. All those piano lessons when you were a child kept you out of trouble and kept you focused on studying. Your sister couldn’t fly in for the graduation because she’s doing a Seminar on Breast Cancer Awareness to the National Women’s Junior League in Madison, Wisconsin. I love you son. Thanks Dad.

With that being said, let’s take the controversial topic of race out of the equation and just look at stats for a bit. I’m gonna say some things that might offend Al Sharpton, but bear with me and it’s my site so I can say what I want. When the NFL drafts a QB in the top 5-8 picks in the 1st Round, they are expecting that QB to have the skills to win a Super Bowl. How many Black QB’s have won a Super Bowl? One. Doug Williams. So on stats alone, the Black QB is up against major obstacles. Is this because the man’s skin is a different color than white? Is that why only one man with dark skin has won a Super Bowl? Good gracious, NO! This is why:
I’m a stat guy, you guys know this, and the stats (millions and millions and millions of stats) say traditionally in youth football thru high school, the best athlete plays QB. And stats show, that in the definition of “athlete”, the best Athlete may just very well have dark skin. So this kid, this black kid, this real fast, jump high, explosive arm, black kid plays QB for years, and wins tons of games. Everybody loves him, not because he has dark skin, but because he competes hard, he’s a great teammate, and he WINS. But when you watch film on this kid, you notice that he doesn’t drop back 7steps, check down 3 times, look off the free safety, hit his 4th target little Scott Lambert doing a drag across the middle. Is it because he’s black? No, it’s because he’s NOT stupid. He knows he’s the fastest kid on the field, he knows he wants to win, and he knows that if the first guy is covered he can tuck it and run the ball. He does this from age 9 thru age 22. Now, his numbers are astronomical, he may have won the Heisman, he may have been the best QB in the nation, everybody loves him and watching him play, but should he be a Top 8 NFL Pick?

He is an Anti-Semite!!
We, here at MagicMondayHandicapping, love Seinfeld. Much of my daily verbiage incorporates lines from various Episodes of Seinfeld. I used one the other day when my Canes Chicken was a little cold. “He’s an Anti-Semite!! How else can you explain cold Canes??? Exactly, must be an Anti-Semite!” For those of you who don’t follow, Jerry’s Uncle Leo, a Jewish Man, blames every single bump in the road of life on somebody being an Anti-Semite. I love it, cracks me up.
The reason it’s so funny is because of his total seriousness at the absolute Absurdity of the comment. Well, that’s where we are in America with the “He’s a Racist” comment. It is gross and I am fed up. In sports and business, if a Black Man doesn’t get something or if someone criticizes a Black Man on the sport’s field about something, said person just must be a racist. I mean, how else can you explain someone not getting a job? Or someone not being a good Hitter? Or someone getting arrested? Or someone shooting someone? Must be racism.
I bring this up today because of the critique of Cam Newton as a pro quarterback. I thought Cam was a great College QB. He was fast, strong, competitive, and won every game he took a snap in. But, THAT’S NOT THE QUESTION Reverend Jackson!! The question was, “will he make a good NFL QB and should he be a Top 10 Draft”. Nobody said he shouldn’t get a job or he should be arrested because he’s black or nobody wants a black man to make money, they simply dissected his predictability of being a Super Bowl QB.

Seattle is garbage, Tampa is young with a young coach and will be ready to play, it's at Tampa, and I'm not saying I play this game, but if I did, I'm with you, can't ever take Seattle this year... Tampa -6

Ravens struggle against balanced teams, as shown last night when Houston started running the ball. Saints are playing well right now and got Pierre Thomas back so their running game is rolling. Probably the big hitters jumped on the Saints and that caused the line to move. I think your initial reaction may be right. Saints biggest knock earlier was they weren't physical enough, but they showed that ain't true when they went blow for blow beating Pittsburgh.

Revenge, that ain't bad... it may work out just like you think.. I'm in Louisiana, so naturally I love my Saints. I think it will be a tough win in Atlanta, but what a great Super Bowl New England and New Orleans would be... good job

With such a weird week of games, I wrote a little piece on what it's like to be a gambler. If you've ever gambled on a sporting event, you oughta check it out. It's a little long so I added the link, but it's worth the read. Hope you like it. https://www.magicmondayhandicapping.com/index.php/component/content/article/100
