With the number of times he threw his players under the bus this year I"m not surprised. I don't feel sorry for coaches who do that.
When you win it is the players that should get all the praise when you lose it should be the coach who shoulders the blame. Tubby didn't do that and I'm sure the players grew tired of that. |

Just curious what you see in Wyoming? I was leaning the other way. Since their leading scorer got booted after a bar fight midway through the season they have not been the same team.
The Mountain West showed us in the tourney that they are not what we thought they were. And Ohio just traveled to Denver and gave them all they wanted. W. Michigan is close to Ohio's level and plays very good defense. Defense usually doesn't slump. I think it will be a close one? your Thoughts? |

Yes I love Akron as well and teased them with UNLV to +9.
Just a little surprised I could have teased them to +11 now |

I'm a little surprised by the line movement of this game especially with how Kent St. worked them last week and nothing has changed for Akron missing their playmaker Abreu.
What am I missing? Why has the line moved in Akron's favor? Anyone see something I'm missing? |

Covers matchup page shows Terrell Parks as questionable with a foot injury for this game----That may be why the line favors NDST

Hello---I'm just curious what it is you see in C. Michigan to believe they have a chance to win this game?---- Buffalo has been solid on this court all year. They beat Akron and took Ohio to the wire on this court. What am I missing?

THURSDAY BIG PLAY >>>>>>>>>>>>>ARIZONA ST , ARIZONA ST , ARIZONA ST , ARIZONA ST , ARIZONA ST
in College Basketball Any idea why the line dropped from -6.5 to -3.5? I love Az ST as well but with that kind of line movement this early, somebody knows something that we don't?
Just curious if anyone has any injury news or something? |

This one is easy. Anthony Davis is a BEAST. He is the best defensive player I've ever seen play at the college level and his offense is getting better every game he plays. He is longer than Kevin Garnett but I think he can easily be compared to Garnett. He is already a better defender than Garnett but as his offense improves he will be better than Garnett.

Between K-state, Baylor, Vandy or Louisville? Which one do you think is the strongest play? Personally, I think Louisville since they just won their conference and seem to be on a roll but the fact they choked last year in this spot as a #4 seed scares me. My 2nd choice is probably Baylor who hasn't lost to anyone outside the Big 12 and all the teams they lost to are quality teams. My worry about Baylor is that they may not take South Dakota St. seriously and think they can just show up. My 3rd choice would probably be Vandy since they just did Kentucky today but I also worry about a let down for them and not taking Harvard seriously. I know that Harvard will be prepared for them but will they have the horses to keep up with Vandy? Last of course is K-state----Personally, I'm not even sure S. Miss deserves to be in the tourney let alone a #9 seed? But they always seem to play teams they play close and win or lose by a few points. I am a fan of the K-state coach and how he makes his players responsible and gets on them if they don't have their head in the game. But boy they can sure go on some ugly runs of poor basketball at times. Their shooting can really be suspect.
Just curious what others thoughts are about the strongest play here---Thanks |

Sloop, I've been following you ML parlays for sometime now and for the most part they have been money in my pocket. I'm looking to narrow down one ML play between Missou, Kansas, St. Louis and Michigan. Which one of these do you feel strongest about? |

I believe the Rebels are not in shape to run the way they do and keep it up for 40 minutes. Thier 2nd half collapses in the past 2 months have been automatic. If Dave Rice is gonna play run and gun, he needs a deeper bench and players in better shape. They were getting the same shots in 2nd half vs. CSU but not making them, also their block out on the defensive boards were horrible in the 2nd half of that game. CSU got several 2nd chance points in their comeback. I remember TCU getting many 2nd chance points in their comeback earlier in the month as well. These 2nd chance points are indicative of "tired legs" since they clearly have more length and athleticism than CSU and TCU. When the body is tired the mind is tired as well. They do not do the little things that allow for winning basketball in the 2nd half of games. Same thing tonight. Big first half horrible 2nd half they do not have the horses to run ALL game long. Dave Rice needs more in his rotation or STOP RUNNING. |

North Texas is the more athletic and talented and deep team. They already disposed of one prentender (Arkansas St.) and they will do the same to W. Kentucky tonight
