i didn't read every comment but here's what i know. philly beat baltimour in baltimour at the start of the year when baltimour was good
they also beat the giants. i've seen this team look bad then do great they tossed 5 picks against cleveland and won the game but it was supposed to be a rout then they came back and beat balt i dunno. this team has still beat top teams. when they're rolling the best of us can't figure out how to beat them so who's to say missing three starters on the line is enough |

before watching last weeks game i predicted indy would take a nose dive here. after seeing the game it became a bit harder but both teams are dealing with a short week. one team doesn't have thier head coach. one team is on the road. plus the pressure of the first nationally telivised game for their rookie 1st overall pick
that's a lot to spin on a road game short week type situation. you just can't make any mistakes in the nfl. it doesn't matter how much his teammates want it for him or his coach. this one will be an easier spot for jacksonville who is still kinda hungry to show some improvements |

it's kinda like hitting a small window for me but denver to beat carolina because the absense of chris gamble. carolina doesn't have much of a d. i know cam newton has kept it close a couple times then won. but if you consider that denver is now rated basically the best team in the afc i see no reason why they can't trash carolina just like NE or Houston would
nothing to do with john fox. he's not even a good coach. never would i feel safe about a pick if it was riding on a good performance from john fox
i'm going for atlanta. i don't have to worry about sean payton either. so i'm happy with the pick of atlanta. i know it's the road but i'm really riding this team. maybe i'll crash but i doubt it
st louis does get amandola back this week which could help some. san fran doesn't run the score up so i'm not sure how this one will go. i know they blew out arizona on the road. but they didn't win there game before that by much |

houston is a better team. they are in chicago so it makes it hard. but not too hard as an underdog. i'm taking them. don't need to do too much talking in this one. it was my favorite pick when i looked at the list this week. won't spend much time here

you gotta consider right now if the giants are on the downturn or upturn. they have been strarting 6-2 a lot of years then loosing a lot throughout the second half of the season but is that what's happening now? it might just be a case of a decent defense beating their strategy of late game heroics. which by the law of averages seems pretty reasonable considering the giants have been pulling these things off without fault for a long time so does this break their trend and cost them to play a different type of game i'm not sure although they have a trend of getting worse in the second half this may be a team who's turned the corner. if you think about how their d-line has been playing lately it's looking better. also their getting players back on offense and they are looking more healthy. not sure about cruz right now. if he did end up getting hurt last week but if they're stronger now than they were at the start i could see them making this a hard game
cincy played well last week in the loss. denver got good officiating and that hurts when you're at home. plus the one big special teams play cincys offense played better than denvers in my opinion

vick always puts himself in bad positions yes. like his o-line plays horrible but he has horrible recognition. a good player doesn't call a play that won't work. i'm sure his o-line is thinking are u kidding me? u want to try and do that? u know what they're doing to us up there?
vick doesn't notice that at all. he needs to take more participation
no one could succeed with that play you're right but he should be doing better to not be in those situations
also when he takes hits he shouldn't be taking. although he hasn't been taking them as much lately
i do blame vick though. i don't blame him. but. i mean he's not playing well period. u can't act like his heads in the game and he's playing good
he just isn't. he's a pro. he has a coach who wants to win and needs to win and he's not delivering pro caliber performance on the weekly like say phillip rivers. like he's been struggleing this year but he's not being a goof and playing like crap throughout the whole thing
vicks head isn't in the game |

it's never as bad as it seems when it's bad, as good as it seems when it's good

i really like andrew luck but i'm not going for him here. i think the jags have too much to gain from playing well on defense

i've heard talks of rivers in november. but i've also heard talks about another o-line player for tampa gone from the lineup
their corner back position is somewhat depleted. i heard another corner is expected to be suspended for aderal
these weaknesses have to express themself on the field sometime
if san diego comes out strong the bucs are gonna need more than two solid recievers ronde barber and a rookie running back |

i admit this game really sets up as a letdown game for indy. in those situations it seems crappy players can be underestimated and have good enough days. like rashad jennings. not that he's crappy. gabbart. it's just a chance for them to play good a little easier than it normally is for them. i'm not sure they're gonna blow that
you gotta weigh that against adrew lucks ability to shine in prime time
if they have been dealing with too many injuries it may show up in a prime time game. i'm gonna have to look into that. are the jags ready to play? probably more than you think
it comes down a lot to playmakers on defense for indy though. if they're injured or not playing 80 percent at least then the jags will have more of a cusion for making mistakes and be able to get off some passes to their somewhat talented wideouts. their defense doesn't take over the game exept for on the line. or i guess they're linebackers now. but lets just say mathis and freeney
i gotta look into the jags protection and history of slowing this guys down as it is in the devision. jags had big issues with a blocked punt against green bay. i'm not sure if their issues are bigger than indys. maybe so
still at -3.5 it's hard to take indy on the road. this game is a close game that could shift opionions quite a bit just by shifting the spread two or three points in either dirrection
i bet even the biggest indy guys might question the pick if they had to cover -6.5
same with if it went to -.5
that would be the play here (in my opinion)
but it's not .5 for indy so i'll see what i'll do after more research

i need more information on this matchup before i decide how to proceed
the line opened at -5.5 with the giants favored but has now moved to -4
i haven't looked at the line sense last night though so it may be different by now
anyways. what knowledge do you have that can help me decide who to bet with |
