Taking the Irish...2 -2 point last second road losses against teams that are better than anyone on OSUs schedule and I get a 7 point cushion |

Irish coming off the bye, have aready faced a better D than Temple and put up 22 in a hurricane. Owls may not score here...looks easy |

Just my opinion but...
Temp at kickoff will be about 40. The starting center for USC was a guard 2 weeks ago, they have all but one of their top 4 receivers injured but do have Madden back. They have one quality win in Arizona State but the devils helped with 4 turnovers. A change at head coach, followed by 3 days of practice. USC put up 49 on the Irish last year (Most of the defensive front 7 was injured). This a revenge game with a traditional rival. I think the spread is about right but will play under 62 on the total.

Took ND +3, Clemson won't stop this offense.

Line movements have no effect on the outcome of the game. Either you think it's wrong or you don't.

Bulls are in a tough spot, they will probably be playing from behind all day and they won't keep pace with the tiger pass by running the ball.

I agree. Not only has Clemson not played a quality opponent (Louisville sucks) but they don't appear to have the offense to stay with the boys from South Bend.

Brian Kelly says he wants Winbush in early, not just doing mop-up. ND winning isn't the question but 29 points? In a trap game?

UMASS is obviously not in the same league but this is a valley game for ND with Clemson on the horizon. I'll wait for that one to play on the Irish. Clemson by the way has a bye this week.

2007 was a special year for the domers they went 3-9. Doubt that will happen this year.

Lets remember the reason Zaire is the starter is because Golson wasn't garenteed a starting spot so he went to Florida State where he will start on Saturday. Zaire, lets remember passed on offers from both Alabama and Ohio State to play for the Irish. I think we'll see him have a good game.

Looking for a lower scoring affair, could go either way. A fun game to watch.

I agree on Delaware but let's add a few facts. NDSU also played the Irish in South Bend but they won that game. More importantly though is what the Irish had on deck-a trip to Indianapolis to play the Hoosiers. Irish got killed in the lane with NDSU shooting 51% from the floor. This lazzy bum feels the Irish were looking ahead a few days. I think the Hens can take this outrite...maybe.

Even when they win, Portland plays like crap on the road and this is their 3rd road game in 4 days........let me think about this.

Notre Dame has rattled off four in a row which included wins over a USC squad that has shown life recently and an Arizona State squad that is competing for a PAC 12 title… Let’s also throw in an earlier win against arguably the best defensive squad in the country (Michigan State). Now on the other hand, we have a Pittsburgh squad that has gone 1 – 3 against mediocre competition in their last four outings whose sole win during that stretch can against a D1AA squad yet the line is just four (4)… Hummmm…
Sounds
like the Wise Men in Vegas know something I don’t so………….. put me down for Pittsburgh plus the chalk at the house for three
(3) C-Notes please. Thanks! |

ND moved the ball at will vs Air Force. Why? Because the offensive line totally dominated the flyboys, and that should continue this week with Navy. The Irish defense will, for the second week in a row see the option attack.......think they'll recognize it early? Hell yes!
I give the 16.5 |

Beautiful night for football.....mid 40s, chance of rain. Irish with a week off to think about USC.
