I do the same thing. If I don't have at least 2 wins then I often don't even look at what I'm picking, I just randomly click and my pick is wherever the mouse lands :)

Damn, 10 game streak lost last night :( I really need to stop from getting so anxious to pick and leave the games alone when there isn't one with a good feel. My first instinct was Islanders over Panthers, but that game wasn't available. I should have left it alone until another night, but I decided to take Vancouver over St. Louis and then I lose in a shootout! My gut was telling me to go with the Under on that game too, but my head was telling me that there have been way too many unders between these teams and with the Blues in general, and that was what killed me. I'm also in a different situation that most here because I don't follow baseball at all (or basketball), so any picks for MLB would have been purely guesses. I was worried that my streak would continue to grow and still be alive after the NHL playoffs if my picks were too far apart and I would have to pick baseball games, so that kind of made me rush picks when I shouldn't have. I guess the lesson is to be patient and to go with your instincts. Oh well, back to 0... Good luck to everyone :) |

Kindest Regards, Kris Those numbers represent your payback if you were to bet $100 on that team and won the bet. So if the team you are betting is +120 then you would win $120 off a $100 bet. If the team is -120 then that means in order to win $100 you would need to bet $120 on that team. |

Don't do it! NJ is on a downward slide, and the Leafs are off a big 5-1 win over the Habs on Saturday. I wouldn't bet against the Leafs tonight.

How do you figure? 4 of their last 6 games are against non-playoff contenders. Winnipeg and Toronto will be tough, but the rest I don't think will put up a big fight. Granted they do have a 5 game road trip to end the season which is rough, but I think they'll take half those games. Winnipeg is the only team that has a decent chance of catching up to the Isles as well, I don't see NJ or Buffalo slipping into the playoffs.
I think both NY will make the playoffs, but if you had asked me at the beginning of the season I would have said the Islanders have zero chance of making it :) |

Crap I bet Dallas on the win based on Nashville's situation and Rinne being out. I didn't realize that Lehtonen was also out :(

I guess I found my own answer since the BJs haven't played in 3 days :P

Thanks for the informative write-up! Is Bobrovsky confirmed for tonight as well? |

I used to use thegreek.com. It was a big hassle to get your money out though. When I tried to do it they wanted a scan of my driver's license and something else as well. I got annoyed that they took my money so easily but when I wanted to cash out it was a big production; I decided I would hang on a little longer and build up my account some more, but in the end I lost all my money so it was moot.
I wouldn't particularly recommend them for that reason, but I haven't tried anyone else and the pickings a slim for us Canadians. I have talked to others that have cashed out with thegreek, so if you are comfortable sending your personal information to an off-shore gambling company then you should not have a problem with them. |

The guy makes millions of dollars, I don't feel too bad for him. I would gladly take the ridicule from all the fans for 7.5 million.

I think it's my fault they lost. I checked the score with about 5 minutes left and thought "great I won!" then went to bed. I was not impressed when I woke up this morning lol

I don't see any chance of the worst team in the league beating the Penguins at home with Crosby returning for the first time in 10 months.
Good luck to you though. I took Pittsburgh by +1.5 |

Wow, 4 nights? I am shocked to hear that. I expected something like this would be extremely rare. With odds like that you could parlay all the dogs every night; but of course now that we know this, it will never happen again :D

btw, does anyone have stats on how often that all games in a night are Dogs?

Yeah, I really wish I had done a parlay!
I bet on 4 of them last night, (all except Winnipeg). Would have been a great payout though. |
