With 3+ days rest this year:
Carmelo 34.2 ppg .489 FG% JR Smith 23.7 ppg .519 FG% That's good enough for me. Plus will be a pro-Knicks crowd considering size of fan bases, and who is more likely to have people in London. |

3-0 Yesterday. 5-1 overall.
Knicks vs Detroit Over 194.5 in early game. NBA trying to promote game overseas and that's not done with defense, I expect a free flowing game. Last game 2 games in London 116-103 and 137-136 (3OT). |

Regarding Minnesota 1H... Checked out their splits in their past 10 games.
Timberwolves have +16 pt differential in the 1H over last 10 and they are -88 in 2H.... Again, I think fatigue is overstated because starters minutes were down vs. Spurs last night. Simple analysis, but public money sees Dirk's name in the lineup and a 2 game win streak for Dallas but Dirk is clearly not Dirk yet and that win against Memphis was pretty much a gimme after the Grizzlies won the game they cared about against Spurs in OT the night before. While on Minn side they see no Love and a 3 game losing streak. But Minn is 2-0 SU vs Dallas this year, both wins came without Love. And their current 3 game slide came on the road against OKC and SA (basically the two toughest games a team can play) and on the road against an underrated New Orleans team that has Gordon back now and has won 6 of their last 10.. Understanding the public's perception is just as important as following the money. I'm taking Minnesota +3.5 1H. I might also play Minn +7 for game, in hopes of being able to get a wide middle by betting Dallas 2H if the opportunity presents itself. 2-0 on posts so far. Good luck everyone! |

Nice post Uste_13... You'd be a king if you could update those records weekly or so!
As far as tonights games go, I would be wary of applying too much weight to the 'Fatigue Factor'. Both Minnesota and Cleveland were on the short end of blowouts last night, and both benches got lots of minutes (Cavs starters averaged just 25 mins last night..). My caution here is supported by the RLM's (although they are small, they are not insignificant) suggesting value in both of the 'fatigued' teams. While I won't subscribe to being 'Due' as a sound theory, I do believe that there will be no perfect record in any one theory -- basically, not every team that plays its 4th game in 5 days will lose that 4th game...Will monitor the changes in both of these lines throughout the day. |

in Website Promotions Washington +2.5 vs Hawks Adding this to card. Similar to Philly pick above. Atlanta 4th game in 5 days -- and haven't been playing all that well lately. Washington coming off of 4 days rest and a win against OKC. The scheduling in the NBA is seriously a joke to create a mismatch like this.. although the Wizards kinda need it to be competitive. Good luck!

Philly +1 vs Houston Rockets much better team. But Philly looks good in this spot. Houston playing 4th game in 5 days. Philly has been absolute garbage lately and haven't even been close in recent games. However look at their last 10 games. Opp win %562 and all but 1 on road. Public hates them and it shows. Line on Philly went from +1.5 to +1 despite 65% of action on Rockets. I think this is great value. At worst this is a pick'em. Be with the books on this one. Good luck, and thanks for everyone's contributions. |

I'm in same boat, but I took $200 at Detroit 25/1 right after they signed Prince Fielder.
I'm putting $130 on Giants series at +155 to cover the $200... Hope they lose (likely will with Verlander/Zito). Hope to put $500 or so on Giants to win series at +240 or so if detroit wins tonight. This locks in $4300 Detroit vs $1200 SF (if Detroit wins game 1) Or if Giants win Game 1, my original bet still covered, and Detroit can still very much win series. If Tigers were underdogs in this series I would be much less inclined to hedge at this spot, but you are deep in the money and can scrape some of that premium into your bankroll. If you are gambling with the intention to make money (which it seems like some people in here are not) then do something along these lines. Good luck with whatever you decide! |

Cain has looked progressively better in each of his 3 postseason starts. His downfall has been surrendering homers. Don't see that being an issue on a cold night in SF where only allowed 7 all season Plus 2.02/3.56 Home/Road ERA in 2012 vs Lohse 2.33/3.41... You must've missed game 3, when Lohse stranded 11 runners in his 5 2/3... He didn't look sharp at all, i don't think he will be any more so in front of raucous SF crowd.
I like SF a lot here. |

Just received an email from Sportsinteraction.com saying my account has been closed...
"We subscribe to a fraud prevention monitoring network where online operators share information and based on the information that we received we have permanently closed your account." I had no cash in the account, but had a number of outstanding wagers worth several thousand dollars (including a big one on the Spurs to win the West at 6 to 1...) Pretty sketchy. Has this happened to anyone? Any ideas? |
