Helton caught a throw from 3rd baseman that pulled him off the bag by 3 feet when he caught and the ump called him out....youtube it!

Yahtzee!! Go buy an effing lottery ticket! The Pads offense is still worst in the league. And Heath Bell still sucks. |

Please realize that he was their last option since it was the 14th inning.

Congrats....nice win. I had the Rockies and it took a career night from Barmes at the plate (who was batting .100 coming into the game) to beat me.

You must not listen to much baseball. Everybody is a homer these days.
ONLY the great Vin Scully gives credit to both teams doing a game. Wish there were more like him. |

Just some other thoughts on these games tonight
SF/Cin: Latos has great numbers against the Giants. Will the ballpark make a big difference as SD/SF parks play much bigger. Latos has been shit this year however. Cain is Cain. Had a rough outing in Arizona but otherwise alright. SF is coming off a DH yesterday. Bats are rolling but that may be a better reflection of the Mutts pitching. Fish/Mutts: Johnson has not been Johnson so far this year. Is everybody betting on his return to form? He's due? Marlins bats run hot and cold. Fish pen/closer stinks. Mutts are in the tank at the plate already. Ike Davis has no clue at the plate right now. Duda is the cleanup guy and is hitting around .200. So can D. Wright beat Johnson by himself? Mutts pen has been solid. How long can Santana go? Will he pitch more like his first start or his last? Nats/Pads: You would think the pitching matchup would go to the Nats....they've been dominant. Starters and relievers. Why open at only 110 for the Nats? Nats offense is in rough shape right now. Pads offense was pretty good against the Phills. Richard pitches fairly well at home. Last game of the night....everybody needing the Nats to fill out their parlays....seems too easy. Tribe/KC: Tribe ain't hitting for shit right now. What will Lowe have tonight? He is certainly hittable. KC has the advantage with the bats I would think. Sanchez can be dominant if he has his control. Royals pen/closer sucks. Rangers/Yanks: Darvish has control issues. His BB rate is atrocious. The yanks are not going to swing at his garbage. They are too disciplined at the plate. Darvish isn't challenging anyone with his fastball either. So a bunch of walks to a lineup that can hit the long ball/xbase hits....Does Kuroda bounce back tonight? Bullpens are a draw I would think but Yanks have ABSOLUTELY KILLED Nathan in the past. Over a better play? Just some random thoughts. I'll probably be on the Royals and Yanks tonight with the Yanks over. Mets bats scare me too much right now to back them. Reds may be a good play also. |

Hey all,
For those of you that use public percentages to either make a play or stay away from a play....I went through the first 3-4 pages of the forum and this is what the public (yes, we are the public) has tonight. I'm listing what the forum is on HEAVY. Giants/Reds: 24/6 Fish/Mutts: 30/2 Nats/Pads: 40/1 Tribe/KC: 28/8 Rangers/Yanks: 20/2 Not advocating a play either way or what this all means, just information to do with as you please. |

I don't know about that over, even with Moyer on the mound. The Pirates could rival the Padres for the worst offense in the league.
They have no power in the lineup and asking them to get 3 singles in a row is a bit much. |

Seriously, is it just me or does there seem to be a ton of errors this year? 14 errors in the cubs/reds series so far. 5 today that may cost me the under. Error in detroit today that cost them (and me) a win. The goddamned Phils/Pads have 5 errors through 3 effing innings! |

Maybe your betting more than you can afford to lose if it is making you this angry....it really should not be this emotional.
Sometimes you make a bad bet and you lose, sometimes you make a good bet and you lose. Shit happens. I don't think your doing your health any favors if losses hit you this hard. Just relax and move on, if you can't move on from losses then it is probably time to quit. |
