Need a bounce back week and looking hard and focused this week. By the way, am I the only one getting so annoyed with these 'lock of the year', 'game of the year' bs?? geez... on to this week...Love some of the games this week with public pounding the opposite side. Will have the whole list soon but for now, I need to lock this before it goes down.-NYG +4This Giants team got MURDERED on defense by Seattle's run game. Giants offense couldn't do anything better either. They have dropped last 4 games SU/ATS and after that embarrassing loss, they get a home games against 49ers who I believe should have lost that game against Saints. Giants just haven't had any running game will Andre Williams but with Jennings coming back, this should be a huge boost. Patrick Willis is out for the season, they have no middle linebacker to contain Giants run game or any passing game in the middle of the field. Safeties in the middle trying to contain those plays and bammm OBJ bomb for 50+ yards. There is not a player on SF that can contain OBJ. Coughlin will be very focused on running defense. His number one goal will be stopping the run. Hell, he doesn't care if he lose as long as he can contain the run. Bottom line is, Giants defense will show up this Sunday. With help of Jenning's return, Eli will have much better game. OBJ will have a field day along with Larry Donnell. Patrick Willis not being on the field will hurt this SF team rest of the season. If it's the miracle come back by SF this week, NYG wins this game outright. And don't forget, with some help from Philly and Dallas, Giants can still make the playoffs (LMAO). Only thing that scares me a little is that SF plays real good football on the east coast. Sometimes, those trends are meant to break. Chris Borland has had 35 combined tackles in the last two games against the Rams and Saints while replacing Willis. I think he's more than capable. He made it easy for them to place Willis on IR. |

The NFL is assisting the public with all of these wins, gambling wins that is. See all of the automatic first-down, ticky-tack penalties that the league has now as proof. I would say it's a combination of the league pandering to the recent rapid escalation in fantasy football popularity and Peyton Manning's neck. What we're seeing statistically mirrors the baseball steroid era as far as record books are concerned. Peyton Manning is the NFL version of a hybrid Clemens/Bonds; Clemens in that he achieves the same or greater results with significantly diminished abilities and Bonds in that he has all of the sudden become a record breaking machine at an advanced age. *Credit goes to SharpMoneyHat here on Covers for the Clemens/Bonds analogy. |

Honest question and not trying to be racist: Why do GM's draft black QB's to run the team?

Put everything you have on Buffalo at Miami. It can be teased to double digits currently. Good luck.

They were handed the Texans game by the Texans. Bill O'Brien pretty much wanted to puke over it.
