Which game did AM get lucky in, the baylor game when they beat the #2 seed or the Stanford game when they beat the #1 seed and the only team that had beaten Uconn in the regular season?

If a local in Indy has 2 1/2 this early, I bet if you want Uconn you can call him 30 mins prior to tip and get Uconn -2, before the local lays of his uneven action with a clearing house.

If an average Big East team making it to the title game means that the Big East is a GREAT CONF. what does an average Horizon league team making the title game say about the Horizon league?

2 team ML parlay of Uconn and Stanford pays 1 dollar for every dollar risk.
These teams are the class of ladies BB this season.
My guess is they both cover ATS, but I'll take the 2 team ML parlay. |

If I hear one more ESPN guy tell me that the Kemba walker technical call was............
in College Basketball Uconn won when they jumped out in a 19-5 run in the 1st half.
Uconn won when they withstood the SD run without getting down by DD
Uconn won when SD missed 7 foul shots
Uconn won when Kemba flopped
Uconn won, when the won the Big East tourney (in other words it showed them they could hang with anyone, anyplace, anytime)
My $ was on SD at +1, and at NO TIME did I have a warm fuzzy feeling after about 5-6 mins of the game. When UConn was down prior to the flop, there was no doubt in my mind Kemba would do what ever it took, to get his team the win.

in College Basketball So now YOU are saying it was the reason they won?
(sigh)
make up your mind. |

in College Basketball My thoughts are there are never (well almost never) single possesions in basketball that decide a game.
There are possesions near ends of games that we remember, but they still remain ONE possesion out of the 50-70 a team has in any given night.
IMO UCONN already had the game won when the tech was called. They seem to be a team that rides waves, and the wave had built prior to that possesion. It was fuled by it for sure, but the game was all but over at that point. |
