years ago i had a pokerstars account, if i deposit now and win, does all that stuff about american banks not allowing you to withdraw still not allow that sort of thing ? i know this is archaic but what is the best way and sites that allow stateside players to get action

I live in the states so that is an obvious factor i failed to mention

To say I've been away from the game is an understatement. Is it still impossible to collect money from poker sites if you want to withdraw or win ? Useless to deposit and play ? |

You guys are correct with the parlay system, and thanks to you guys for helping out. The input and knowledge ya'll have provided have helped turn this into a profitable year so far, which from what I see is the exception so far. My only posted pick this year was troy vs bg , a loss. Gonna let this thread die, but many thanks and profitable season to my fellow cappers.
Thanks to all those who gave insight to where to go in tuscaloosa last weekend, had a blast at the quad, denny chimes, etc.

I dont think so dice, I know what youre talking about, i remember people wanting that to be on the 'down low' so books or locals wouldnt get wind they were getting hacked by the double parlay betting schemata. Man thanks for your input , but I believe this was single game wagering....

Me: 45
Local : 34
Winning % = 56.9
I need some help guys. Remembering what I can I know theres a system based on the points spread being so much of a percentage of the total for the game and supporting trends to pick one way or the other. I thought it might have been 1/3, meaning point spread was more than third of total for same game. Examples this weekend
Cincinnati -28.5 / 56.5
Ohio State -17 / 46.5
San Diego State -16.5 / 45
Any insight or corrections and which way this 'system' leans, its been buggin me, any help appreciated, which way to go on these ? Thanks, Bebbs

Interested to hear your points on BG. My one and only pick so far posted is Troy for the following reasons:
1. Defense - troy is loaded on this side of the ball, where they are young they are talented, have received praise from HC Blakeney all spring and fall. At least 3 all sun belt members on that D.
2. Returning starters, and returning starters in skilled positions
3. BG new offense, new coach
4. Last but not least, Humidity. Troy will own BG in fourth quarter because they will have depth and conditioning as an advantage.
5. Troy 34 - 7.
Just a few of my thoughts, had a thread last week about it, but what angles are you using. Thanks. Bebbs1

May the time spent researching bring you bags of . A faithful reader of your game write ups and always look forward to your selections for debate. BTW, went to my first Bruce show this year (April 26) in Atlanta. Man, what an impact that concert had on me. Best wishes this year Badlands, Bebbs1

Defensive end Brandon Lang tipped and intercepted a pass at the line of scrimmage in Wednesday’s practice.
Lang’s interception received praise from the head coach as well as Courtland Fuller’s play on deep passes. “Courtland Fuller made two good plays today on deep balls,” Blakeney said. “They both looked good out there today.” Recent update from some of the hype surrounding Troys defense. Coaches also commented on my specific angles again of conditioning (humidity), and defense controlling the pace of contest with Bowling Green. Usually stay out of the predicting score pool, just can't help myself. Troy 34 Bowling Green 7

agree on two games, 1. South Carolina and the points, Spurrier has made it clear he will be calling the offensive plays this year. I like the gamecock defensive line work as well.
2. Troy {see write up}, been following team and practices as soon as last night. They have today off. I keep stressing practicing in this humidity here will make conditioning a factor late in the game. New coach , new offense, BG will get gashed in 4th quarter. Get that paper///////

As predicted, DEFENSE was flying to the ball, while offensively they continued to gel. Had to omit stats from last post to fit but overall those who are looked at to step up did so. Coach Blakeney high on backups, good push at the end in HUMID practice, 4th quarter conditioning in this southern humidity will be reason to feel confident Trojans will be gashing BG line late in the game.....

As promised, here are some stats from the Trojans second scrimmage. Coaches high on freshman contribution and senior leadership when it came to two big topics during practice. 1. the ability to score touchdowns within 5 yards 2. The ability to keep driving the ball toward the end of quarters and 'end of game'. bebbs1

"Sidell has decided to come here to Troy," Blakeney said. "I met with him and his father, he's been released, everything is on the up-and-up. He's a likable young man who has been through a lot and hopefully this will be a good experience for him." Corley appeared in two games during the 2008 season at LSU after redshirting as a true freshman in 2007. In those two contests he recorded two tackles in a reserve role. Seems as if Troy picked up a lineman from LSU this week, not sure about the immediate impact of his playing with the Trojans. Will have a report after tonights scrimmage which will be the second one. Coach Blakeney is ratcheting up the competition and some 11 on 11 is gonna start happenin'. However, he did indicate starters would see limited action. Cant make it to Hatteisburg tonight, but I'll stay tuned. Thanks. |

Listening to sports radio, relying more on content(stats) rather than commentator opinion said following : referencing USC that Pete Carroll teams in all his years except first year were like 12-9 in games decided by 7 points or less. With freshman QB and schedule they look to be in a lot of close games, agree that this may be 'off year' for USC.
