Happy to report my first payout from 5Dimes went pretty smoothly. Asked for a $1000 check on Monday, got it on Wednesday. ATM wouldn't accept it (figured that would happen but thought it was worth a shot). Next day deposited it inside, no questions asked. Funds were ready on Friday morning.
There was one hiccup in that 5D deducted the $40 fee even though I requested it a time when fees were supposed to be waved. But after talking to customer service they credited that back the next day. So, yeah, in case anybody's curious, I can recommend them.

Whenever I see the limits for a sportsbook it always gives the limits for sides and totals but never the moneyline. Anybody know the book(s) with the highest moneyline limit?

I live in Texas where betting on sports online isn't illegal. If I go to Louisiana where sports betting online is illegal can I bet there online anyway, since I'm not a resident of Louisiana?

I see, thanks for the info. Should I win, I'm going to shoot straight when it comes to taxes, etc., but I was thinking have the money go from the book to Canada and from Canada to me. But maybe getting it from Canada to the U.S. would be no different than getting from the book to the U.S.
Thanks again. |

Thanks for your response, josbran. I wasn't thinking about trying to convince anyone (bank, casino, government) I am a Canadian citizen. I'm pretty sure even though I'm not Canadian I could go to Canada and start up a banking account. I guess what I'm wondering is do Canadian banks care as much as American banks do about accepting a transfer from an entity they suspect (or flat out know) is a sports book?

I'm a U.S. citizen. If I set up a bank account in Canada would that make getting the money from my sportsbook (Bookmaker) go more smoothly? Especially if it's $10,000.00 or more?
Thanks for your help. |
