Whoops. Talking about Streak Survivor. All NBA picks except for NCAA men's final.

NBA Betting > Goodbye to my W15 > View Post
OKC got up 7 with 6:43 left with an 8-0 run...glimmer of hope in my eye to cover the -13.5 I had with them. Got ugly from there. It hurts. I thought it was "my turn" to get to at least W21.
Felt really in tune with all my previous picks, but right before gametime tonight I started getting anxious. Too bad you can't cancel right?

Wow sir, I am thoroughly impressed with this report. How you remember all these details is beyond my comprehension, so major kudos and major thanks for this story. You seemed to really go through the ups and downs that gambling in Vegas can bring, but you are intelligent enough to know what you are getting yourself into.

Thank you again for the report. Fantastic read.

You're right. This has become forgotten due to the extreme nature of that blown replay call, but I feel very important to consider.

General Discussion > MAGIC ADMITS HE WANTS TO BUY THE CLIPPERS > View Post
Oh Magic Johnson, you've exposed yourself too early.
"Magic and his group are interested in buying the Clippers..."
Sounds too convenient when I give this hypothetical scenario: Magic and Donald's mistress are close friends.
Magic becomes aware of Donald's (from the audio what I would call MODERATE at worst) racism.
Asks mistress to record Donald secretly to "get her cut" ($500,000 for selling the audio), ...
24/7 public outrage at Donald (everything I've heard today is "how could this have gone on so long before finally being national headlines?" from media personal. This is the most important thing to consider)
"Everyone" wants Sterling out as owner.
Magic already (oops) said he and his group are interested in buying the Clippers if Donald is directly or indirectly forced out of ownership.
When it comes to money and power, this makes SO MUCH SENSE in terms of plausible scenario behind the scenes.

Gold Coast, and Orleans is, I believe closer to Rio than the strip. Strip is 15 minute walk away (I've done it recently), and you hit Caesars first.

They may get game 3, but loving them game 4. Home underdog teams give their best punch against the better team in game 3 cause their crowd is the most amped up.

Glad someone else thinks the way I do. If not scal specifically, I sure believe they are paid people on here to sway and manipulate people's thoughts on games in hopes to lure them to, what the books think is the wrong play for the bettor to make.

NBA Betting > Write-ups on Spurs vs Clippers game!!! > View Post

Thank you Mr. Bond. Like the Clippers as well, but I think this game is very volatile.

Side notes for all looking at this game:

JJ Reddick is out for this game

Parker and Ginobli are probable, Splitter questionable, and Leonard is out.

Paul didn't play in San Antonio.

Clippers beat S.A. 116-92 in L.A. back in December

Few thoughts...

-Take a deep breath scal, cause from my occasional visits to the Covers forums you got a lot of anger about things you can't control, and you'll defend yourself like no one else's opinion matters.

-What is it that Chris Paul specifically said that got you all fired up?

-Are you real upset at LeBron James for leaving Cleveland too?

-Who's your favorite team and player in the NBA?

Thanks.

General Discussion > Michael Sam being compared to Jackie Robinson, Oh boy > View Post

Had to shut off the sports media for a couple days cause of how they were going to teach us the right and wrong ways to react to this and the college fan pusher guy...AND THEN the president gets involved, which justifies how this media blitz is a propaganda bullet point to stuff down our throats.

50 years ago in the US, most white people were against blacks having rights, 100 years ago, most men were against women voting, 200 years, most whites were against blacks having any rights at all...etc etc...could go on with numerous examples of how we as a society "suddenly" have changed our opinion on topics...IT'S THE MEDIA folks.

Thank you, carry on :)

You hit it on the head with the following mentality...I never had much of a relationship with my family growing up, so I was that guy that let the media/entertainment world tell me how to think and feel thinking  "that's just how the world is." So, from experience, I know how easily a person can be manipulated without even realizing it.

I agree with the whole people try to act "cooler" around black people. My thought with this is our media/entertainment world in the USA really went through a ... call it what you will, I say propaganda phase of making the black culture look like "idiots" because the younger you are, the easily impressionable you are. So with all these "unknown followers" of what this media perception of "being black" is all about, you see it more and more frequent in the actual real world, and thus us non black folks tend to feel the need to "act cooler" around them to "fit in."

I don't follow any trends or slang (27 year old male) because I can see the writing on the wall with how media perception becomes reality in the masses.

My favorites are to combine 1. Gut feeling and 2. REVERSE line movement.

If still lacking the full confidence needed, check the stats/previous scores aka research.

So if you were walking through a park, and witness a person shooting and killing an innocent kid, then while running for your life, saw a person with a metal detector looking for coins or whatever, you would stop running and think/say "What a f---ing loser! These people are the scum of the Earth!"

Okay, joking aside, my favorite Sportscenter anchor was Rich Eisen, especially when he busted out his "He Del-GOTTT-IT!" after Carlos Delgado would hit a home run, and I never liked any of the teams he played for.

Mr. Nevada himself bill702 with the winning response for his "punny" use of a pun.

Through NO experience I would think Alaska with the constant sunshine for months at a time to constant darkness for the other months.

Yes, the constant people looking down/away from you as you walk by them has a lot to do with the social media and text. It really does bother me as a 27 year old guy that's kind of "only" known internet chat to be "normal" to my generation.

And yes, the people that want to text for a long time over a simple call seem silly to me too.

Man, that was an amazing win leading from start to finish to a team that only had 1 home loss up until today...In the 4th the Pacers got to within 1 twice, and each time the Suns scored on their next possession to keep Indiana under "pressure"

Well you're now 8-2 Gretzsky! Nice cover even though it was close. I have no idea why the Clippers slowed down the pace considerably the second half cause they were getting dunks, layups, and open 3s the first half, but since they were silly enough to go away from what was working, you deserved the cover, and I apologize if I made anyone hesitate from picking the Wizards.

Cheers buddy :-)

NBA Betting > the Wizard guy. I know this team > View Post

As I stated earlier today, I am the opposite version of the original poster when it comes to following a team closely.

If I knew the future in sports, I'd be the richest guy in the world, but I am just trying to throw it out there that I've felt for 5 days now that the way I've seen them play without Paul that they're going to dominate their first game back home from their 7 game road trip they just finished.

Washington is 9-3 straight up in their last 12 road games, and that's very impressive for any team, so all in all we will see. Good luck to anyone on this game :-)
