Im also taking Dal +3.5 and LA/HOU over.
I was a bit scared because its home and they have their championship ceremony before the game, but Tiago Splitter, P. Mills, and Kawahi are all out for this game. Also, I like the new upgraded Mav's. Hope it hits. For the over in LA/HOU game, I hesitated because the total line dropped significantly in a short amount of time with no injuries reported. Also LA has no bench members that can score right now due to injuries. But since Harden hates Kobe, and people booing Howard, and also broadcasted on TNT, I will gamble small on the over. (Harden has averaged about 31 points per game last 3 games he played against LAL) Im also going with Dal/Spurs over, and Pelicans -10. good luck |

Yesterday 1-1
-Nets -5.5 -OKC -10.5 Todays Pick: 1. New York -6.5 - Orlando is relying on Nelson + Vucevic + Affalo heavily. But no one on Orlando can stop Carmelo or Chandler. Jason Kidd is a good defender and will give Nelson a hard time scoring. Vucevic recently had some dominant games, but with Chandler, I dont think so. With no big baby, the Orlando is undersized to compete with the Knicks. The bench members on New York is just too good compared to Orlando's bench. 2. Kings + 7.5 - New Jersey has a stronger team. But watching them play against Washington without a "real" Coach + going to 2 over times made me pick the Kings. Kings are more of a fast pace team who loves to run, and having Cousins, a big man being able to run with the guards on fast break, I assume Lopez and the tired Nets will have some trouble towards the second half of the game. Additionally, the Nets are without there back up PG and looked horrible when D-Will was benched. 3. Clippers -6 - Many people think this is too easy. They are picking Golden State over Clippers. The Warriors may seem to be the right choice here because they are 2-0 against the Clippers, Clippers may not have Crawford playing, and Clippers played tonight against the Lakers while Warriors had rested. But this game seems to be the "revenge" game. Additionally the line is very fishy. It may go down later tomorrow, but line makers are not stupid. I see Clippers bringing on a different game tomorrow and win by 10+ points. Remember, Clippers are one of the best teams in the NBA right now and had a 17 winning streak. Match up wise, they are capable to beat the Warriors by a large margin. Good Luck |

I am new to Covers forum. I have been a serious NBA bettor for years (internationally). But now I am in U.S and wish to help myself and others to make some $$.
I have been in a serious NBA fantasy league for years, and have been checking players status hourly have had extreme interest in the NBA as a person who loves to ball. You don't have to follow my plays, but I wish I could be in some help. 1. Brooklyn Nets (-5.5) - I was surprised to see how low the lines were after Nets beating one of the top team's in NBA. Joe Johnson finally had a break out game and commented that the team is communicating well with each other. But the tricky part of with the Washington Wizards are they are unpredictable at home at this point. They have beaten the Heat once at home, and only lost by 7 points to Boston, and Indiana, and lost by 10 points to Bucks. But comparing to those teams, the Nets have the better match up against the Wizards. Clearly the Nets have a better starting 5, but I have learned in the NBA, the bench members are very important. Humphries is out, and Blatche and Evens will see more playing time. This is good because Blatche is a more offensive players than Humphries, and Evens is as good as Humphries in rebound. As long as Joe Johnson doesn't shoot more than Lopez, I will be on the Nets. 2. Oklahoma city -10.5 - The OKC will be playing there 6th game in 11 days. But the Philadelphia Sixers have been on the road for 13 days and will be playing there 7th away game. The Sixers star Jrue Holliday will be playing with an injury (groin strain) + OKC fans = easy win for OKC The thing I like about OKC is they never give up. Even if they are winning by a large margin, they will still play hard. These are my two plays of the day. Good Luck everyone! |
