Second, neither one of ISU's RBs (Johnson or White) are listed with an injury on here or another site I check. So are you thinking of the Iowa Hawkeyes or even the Sooners players... From ESPN...The Sooners also lost leading rusher Damien Williams and starting left tackle Lane Johnson late in the game to ankle injuries, and their statuses for Saturday are not known. As for my take of the game, I would like to see my Cyclones win or cover but the injury I'm more concerned about is their best LB (Jake Knott) being out for the year. He is the leading tackler team and the Big 12. If I take anything in this game I would take the Under. ISU defensive is still good and has kept opponents below their avg.. Also, ISU's QBs have been inconsistent so the offensive tends to struggle. GL Everyone! |

Under 54.5 Gamecocks defense is toug. They won't allow much scoring from Tennesse.Combine that with the Gamecocks pounding the ball with Latimore and a wind of 13-15 mph by game time...Under. |

Does anyone know why there are official game threads for these games? Do they even have lines? Except maybe with a local book...

I agree with your turnover analysis but with Barnett starting now I think ISU will get the turnovers under control. Iowa State has played Kansas St tough the last few years and have just come up short. In the last 3 years ISU has had the lead or tied in the 4th quarter. Kansas St either scored on the final possession to take the lead or ISU missed a PAT. This year its in Ames for the first time in 5 years (neutral site in 09 & 10) and I think Iowa St can pull off another upset or at least keep it within a TD. Obvsiously I'm a little bias but for those who know this rivalry it won't be an easy win for the Wildcats. |

I agree. Bama has two weeks to prepare for this game.

These games were with in the FIRST 6 games of the season, too & LSU won rather EASILY in ALL of these games. Wisconsin is ALL JAZZED that they KILLED UNLV, Cupcake A&M , Cupcake Tech & Oregon St that is a HORRIBLE football team!!!!! LRpisano...I totally agree with you. I think its weak they schedule a cupcake home schedule every year and they should schedule a home/away series or neutral against top BCS conference school. But I think their cupcake schedules comes back to bite them when they get invites to bowl games. I think bowl committees look at their record and who the played and they get shafted on the bowls they get invited...IMO |

Well the last two have been due to B1G scheduling but I agree its a joke how Wisconsin usually schedules a cupcake home schedule to start the year. |

I'm a little leary because Sparty is favored here but I like Michigan St -3. Spartans know how to slow up Robinson and should be able to win at home. |

After last week's win Cyclones might be hung over. I also think this will be low scoring so I probably stick with the under here.

That is the nature of basketball in general. Missed FT and garage 3pt. As you probably can tell I lost this game as well. I chalk this bad luck but know I capped the game right. |
