A win @ Washington puts them in unless they crap the bed against SC or ASU.
Worst case i think UA goes 3-3 down the stretch ( L to UW, UCLA, 2nd round Pac-12, W ASU, USC, 1st game Pac-12). However, i dont see the happening. The UW game is huge, because a win in Seattle almost wraps up a birth and firmly puts them in the Pac-12 title hunt with 3 to play. Dont see UA losing to UCLA, ASU, or SC. |

Also, huge spot for Arizona because this is a must win if they want a shot at the Pac-12 title. A win at Wazzu sets up a showdown in Seattle on saturday with 2nd place on the line and the winner being within striking distance of Cal.
Arizona would then go home against the SoCal schools and finish out the season @ ASU. I dont see UA losing either of those three with the conference crown on the line. WSU is a must win to have any shot at a Pac-12 title and puts them right on the bubble with 4 games left. |

Im on New Mexico large. ASU is garbage.
Waiting on the UA line, but Id take them easily with anything around 4 or 5. Made a post about this elsewhere, but... UA's defense is very good, they have excellent shooters, Turner is starting to come around, and Parrom is back which led to Hill playing well. Arizona has way too much motivation to lose in the Garden (plus they own MSG), because of Kevin Parrom. That team will not let him lose at home in New York after all hes been through, and the road he took just to get back on the court for this trip. |

Duquesne pushing the pace against Arizona is not gonna be a good thing for them. Even without Parrom, UA is still a good defensive team and defend the 3 as well as anyone in the county. In and up and down game, I actually think im going to take UA -9.
They fell apart late in the 2nd half against Valpo when they were up 20. I dont see Sean Miller letting that happen and he has already been pushing some of his under performing players in the media. |

Im on the over in the UA game. 135.5
Arizona is going to try and run like crazy, IMO. Meanwhile, Valpo can score in the paint and has a good 3pt shooter to take advantage of potential slow rotations from UA. |

Arizona takes this one, but they are a bad free throw shooting team right now, and its better off to wait and see how the rotations looks and how hard Josiah Turner pushes the tempo in a more focused environment. Nick Johnson is going to be a stud for UA though. Also, im pumped to see Turner in real game action as well Warner, as the exhibitions havent been too kind to him, due to his teammates not being ready to catch his passes in traffic... |

Wm has been bet down to +8 right now... Would be on it with you, but gonna wait and see if the line opens up more.
No play on Arizona at +14 right now. Just too many points to cover right now, even though Miller will have his rotations tightened up and ready to go. |

Sorry I meant they arent flashy. Theyve been that gritty Pac-12 team that always spoils a home stand against the bay area schools. However, I think they have too much upperclassmen and talent to not make a serious run at the Pac-12 title.

Arizona losing Kevin Parrom (their best player) with a gun shot wound to the leg is going to hurt if hes not ready to go by Pac-12 play.
Turner is a stud at PG, and its really the first time Miller has had a PG of his caliber, even on his Xavier squads. In addition, you are going to see UA play exactly like Miller's very successful Xavier teams. 10 deep, cutting off the lane on defense, ball pressure, a fast pace, and 4-6 guys averaging 9 points. UCLA should be interesting to watch, because I really dont think the Wear twins are going to make a huge impact, but they have so much depth in the frontcourt that they are going to be a very difficult team to defend and beat. I really like Cal. I know they are flashy, but theyve been solid for the last 2 years, and I think this is Monty's best shot at a Pac-12 title in years. They are solid 1-8 and just seem to hang around in every game, except now those players are all upperclassmen and should be winning games, not just hanging around. Oregon is the sleeper. No chance they win the conference, but I can see them coming alive once Pac-12 play starts. Altman has a good thing going in Eugene already. |

Bazz isnt staying home and in fact it would be a shock if he doesnt end up in Westwood.
Cal is going to be tough this year, I could see them winning the Pac-12. UA without Parrom for an unkown amount of time could ruin their chances at another Pac-12 title. |

UA is rallying around their intern coach, who has them excited to play, gave full control of the offense to the offensive coaches, and the players love Kish (interim coach).
I think this is a bounce back emotional game for UA, and they win, at home, on national TV, under their interim coach, with the 3rd best passing attack in the nation rolling. |

Im jumping on Zona for a few reasons.
1. With Stoops gone and Kish in as the interim (all the players love him) you are going to see UA play with some passion. 2. Kish is the LBs coach, and now will be calling the shots on defense. Make no mistake about it, Kish was not able to call the plays even as D coordinator, because that was all Stoops. Kish has already come out and said they are going to be more aggressive and dial more blitzes. Stoops hardly ever sends the blitz and plays a bend but dont break D. How did that work out so far? 3. Foles is on fire and with a week off to prepare under Kish I think Arizona plays very well, at home, on national TV. Any questions on UA, just let me know. |
