Ryan knows every loss squeezes his arse through the exit door. I cannot think he will let the Jets be part of that squeeze. I'll go with Bills in a tough one to give Rex another week of boastful cursing against his former noss. |

Elway either gets to offer a huge horse smile or the look of a donkeys arse. I'll lean smile but in a close game ending by a Newton turnover to grab defeat with an ugly play. |

If the Raiders expect playoff ability respect, this is the type of game they need to win from the gate. A Saints team in a struggle to reach 3rd in a division by default and the new deal for Brees speaks to having nothing to look forward with on both sides of the ball. Oakland needs 1-0 start and get it. |

The home opening in the Minn stadium even without Bridgewater is a big game fir the Psckers and they may be looking ahead a little or just enough. Couple that with the morale with the Sitton event, a few rookies who need to play well...Clark, Martinez, Lowry, humidity and a improved Jac, upset alert should be ringing. I'll take the points and a little money line on Jac and yes, I'm a Packer fan. |

Atlanta will prove to be worse than last season and Saints get it done.

If ever there was a game for a rookie QB to get his feet wet its this one.
Derek Carr vs the first ever no CB defense of the Jets. Now the Raiders just need to take the chance and start him. Carr beats the Jets Schaub loses to the Jets Its that easy of a choice.

Losing Bradford IMO was a good thing for the Rams, not for Bradford and hope he is fine, but Hill.though not likely as talented as Bradford(age as reason)is and has been more week to week consistent QB during his time than many including Bradford. However,I think the Vikes will keep it close all game and cover the spread of 4 with a chance to win it.

Lacy,Starks,Harris will take away the two high safety scheme the Seahawks used well against the Packers thus making Rodgers even more offensively devastating.Sure.The Seahawks are the Champs and should be respected but this isn't the same defense for the Packers as every running QB will attest to after each game...Rodgers has never been disabled because of 'noise' so lets move on from the roar of the crowd stuff and save it for those who it does bother.
Packers 27-24 Good Luck to All !

I'll expect an emotional let down after the win over the G-Men.

The lost of Rodgers and its impact on the offense needs not be talked about....the impact it has on the defense is the question, Whether Matthews, Perry or whoever else worth mentioning is able to play, the only chance they have is to keep the score low so the weakened offense via the pass doesn't become the made focus to win the game. They need to keep it within striking distance for the use of the run to make possible a pass strike to a Nelson, Boykin or Jones easier and for hopefully a TD or a setup to obtain one. These chances may not come often but when they do,it must be successful.....GB-20-17 |

Since I only bet M/L and have done a tad more than decent to date. I'm placing a bet on the Bucs to bring in the major upset that happens a few times a year...I may lose a little but the reward is too big to not chance...like Powerball.

If Shanahan was using his brain...he'd accept that RG3 isn't able to play as hoped before the injury and now another knee is hurting and the pounding he has been receiving should have him open his eyes and 'beam up' Capt Kirk to the helm and get a win at home.

Until the Packers learn to not only keep their foot on the gas on offense but more importantly, do so while on defense, this team shouldn't lay double digits to anyone and I'm a die hard fan. They seem to enjoy nail biting a lot and the Bears always have me growing mine longer so I can bite till the end.

A last gasp for the Texans and for Kubiak ...Keenum may not be the answer long term but he certainly can offer a little CPR. This is the first game since the loss of Wayne and the scales see a big loss for the Colts but a bigger gain for the Texans defense coming from it.....Texans for the win.

Cleveland has been stockpiling draft picks...how many they have IDK but, they are locking in on a QB next draft and have the ammo to get him, a win here isn't going to hinder going after the 'one'.....Cleveland for the win.
