Whether a hook helps if you use it 100 % is fully hypothetical. But if you're buying it every time you're going to have to pick a helluva lot more winners. Not directed a top

What are the odds of having 20 wins without a push if all bets were on even~numbered odds? Versus 20 wins with bets that have hooks on them? Then, if one loses a bet by a half point, then it would take 20 bets without extra juice just to cover that one .5 point loss. So, in the end, buy the hook. Vegas loves those hooks for a good reason. I don't think your math is even close to right but maybe I'm following incorrectly

Its unbelievable that this concept has to be explained to people who bet actual cash on games. They should make you take a comprehension test before you take money out of your kid's college fund to just give away to your book...

You're a bettor? You bet football? And frequent a betting site....and this has to be explained? First down, no time outs, game over. In the history of the NFL no team has lost entering into the victory formation. If the Broncos score, mathematically, the game is still alive. Unlikely, but alive. If they fall on the ball, game over. To summarize so you can follow:
Fall down = 0 mathematical chance to win Score = Slightly higher than 0 mathematical chance to win. When you're hoping to win, 100% probability is better than less than 100...

Nobody worth paying attention to is going to tell you to take the bus home. And those that do aren't worth responding to becuase nothing you say will matter. Those of us who actually have intelligent conversations though, that pushed us all away. You were in great shape without that douchey last couple lines. Just know what you have and who cares about the trolls.

So you're like the skip bayless of this forum then? Because what you've just proposed, and then the answer you just gave above, make it impossible for you to ever be proven wrong. So you're basically trolling the forum telling everyone they're all morons. This forum has never helped you, except an entire thread full of people helped you with the Lakers. The ENTIRE WORLD was on Oregon State yesterday but it was one individual's fault that you took the wrong side. Its a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you win, you were the genius who saw an edge, or the example you gave above...probability helped you in the end. When you lose, you just knew the other side was right and some dumb behind talked you out of the right side. People gave you help two days in a row. The fact that you went 1-1 and manage to say you got no help on either can't ever be proven wrong if you manage to bullshit. Its a betting forum, which means theoretically half of them are always going to be right. There were quality posts for why OSU was going to win all day yesterday. The fact that you missed them is your own fault. |

You're THE worst kind of poster. The anonymous douche who is never wrong, because even when he's wrong, he can say "haha just kidding". Get a life man really. I guarantee the next time we see this and this chump manages to win, he's gonna come back claiming to be a millionaire. Also, 40 years + alabama education and stone mountain condos aren't anything impressive dude, nobody is like holy hell that guy's loaded. You're 86th among public universities in the US, and that's an IMPROVEMENT from 40 years ago when you graduated. With a retirement, nice home in stone mountain and that great education, you don't have anything better to do than troll internet betting forums?

Now will you people return and admit you're morons with a lower IQ than the total you just hit? You scored 27 in the first quarter, and started yelling fix on a game before the third was even over, on a total you only needed 3 points to hit. Pick your spots to announce your advanced stupid to the world man, pick your spots.

His career numbers are still sick. a CAREER above 100 QB rating is sick. A career 4-1 TD/Int ratio is also sick. The competition levels aren't exactly equal. I'd much rather face GB's soft secondary than the Niners D...

Sick, HOF but idk where your made up numbers came from. 171/46 or 189/51 TD int ratio, the latter including playoff stats. His highest QB rating EVER was 122, not 138, and his career rating is 104 and change. Arguing a valid point is one thing. Totally lying to make your point when his ACTUAL numbers will suffice plenty is another. |
