I read the book "Personal Foul." Tim may have made some serious mistakes, but, when it comes to leaning toward the truth I think he has less of a problem than David Stern. At the very least Tim is not in denial. (i.e. see David Stern press conference in Las Vegas during 2007 All Star weekend; paraphrasing "there are no gambling issues in the NBA." He was well aware of an investigation going on at that time. Tim no doubt abused his power. But, get this. When I first attempted to buy the book at B&N when it was released there was a sign in the store stating due to fear of lawsuit by the NBA they were not going to carry the book. (They now carry the book, at least for online order) There's a power play for you courtesy of David the dictator. After reading this book you will never watch an NBA game again in the same light. I have the NBA package on Direct TV and catch a lot of games. There are so many biases that are flat out blatant. Not so much favorable calls for superstars. We all know that's been going on forever. But, man, when these refs get it in for a certain player or coach they are relentless. Scott Skiles, that guy can't even breath wrong or they nail him. Be careful playing a Magic game ATS. Sometimes I think they call 2 fouls on Dwight Howard before he even leaves the locker room. To top it off, they can't even hide the smirks on their face. Good luck to all and I look forward to seeing what Donaghey has to say. |

I don't think I need to say much about the Saints O. I see this going score for score for most of the game. I also can see a late turnover spelling defeat. Not sure for who though. I will be on the Saints +5-7 and ML light. Good Luck to all you Saints backers out there! Confusing Manning?????? Let me know how that works out for you... |

By that theory, do you love the Raiders for generously giving 30 million to Jamarcus Russell. Yeah, there's one where the greedy ass owners really raked a guy over the coals. |

The Hilton Sports Book is not only the best in Las Vegas, it is the best in the world according to the sharps. Best props and most liberal numbers on the board, free drinks if you show the cocktail waitress your betting slip and trust me that's not the norm in Vegas anymore. I lived there the last 3 years until the beginning of this year and not only do the heavy bettors hang there, but so do the locals because they know that all these other places have boards that are too conservative (hell you can just look at the boards and within 15 seconds see the difference from the rest of the strip) but they (Bellagio, Mirage, Wynn, Caesars) know the tourists are suckers and don't know the difference. Hilton, hands down. Not even close.
