The SEC is king for now and while that irritates the heck out of many who post on here, it is a fact. Coordinately, Bama is king of the SEC and as much as that irritates me personally, it is a fact. I like to bet on facts. The best team in the SEC wins and covers BCS bowl games. Oregon being the exception. I am going with the trend and with my eyes inasmuch as I've unfortunately watched every Tide game this year. I see this game close until second half when the Tide will finally break it open. Obviously turnovers are the X factor, but I see Bama winning the turnover battle and successfully running the fottball in the second hallf just like they always do. Anyway, Bama 27 Notre Dame 16. Like Bama -9, lean on the over but like the first half under at 21(thinking 10-6 at half). Intrigued by the Tease posted by W8Lifter may pull the trigger on that too. Good luck. See you on the hardwood. |

I'm sticking with original play. Ole miss 38 Pitt. 24.
Combato, I get you have a system and I think that is the only way to stay above water. You are right. Every handicapper goes cold and a good handicapper stays disciplined through a cold streak, doesn't chase bad money, passes games he doesn't have a read on and bets units consistently. I have broken these rules through the years and learned the hard way. Whether its in a casino or with a sports book discipline is the only way to survive. Anyway, appreciate your posts as I do anyone on this site putting themselves, their plays and their insight out their for public review/criticism. In my humble opinion it's all about information and as we all know Vegas has more of it. Hence your square/contrarian/steam theory holds water to the extent that you are trying to play a side with those who have some important information. I can tell you this game means a lot to the ole miss program. 8 top 150 recruits are seriously considering ole miss. The program has a lot of momentum and both coaches and players will do everything necessary to keep that going. Since the Texas beat down ole miss has played great football even when it could only take 57 scholarship players to baton rouge. The Alabama game was a defining moment when a super-young, over-matched rebel defense came out and hit Bama in the mouth. Despite playing under manned and young and most importantly when left on the field way too long they kept ole miss in every game except the second half of Georgia. They will play the same way against Pitt. They'll give up some yards and some points but they will keep making big plays throughout. So I think the question is Pitts defense and I am just not of the opinion that they are in the same ballpark with lsu, Bama, vandy, Georgia or tex a&m's. I think they are probably more like miss. State. I like ole miss through 4 quarters and pulling away in second half. Ole miss offense will wear Pitt down. In support of my line of thinking is the passion factor. Pitts third straight trip to birmingham. When the chips are down I just don't see them fighting through it. We shall see on the morrow. Good luck to all.

This site reminds of free winners back 10 years ago. Won a lot of money in law school trusting info from that site. Now info works as it should....in the hands of the beholder. That said, best info comes from guys who follow teams. Question becomes how much can you trust a homer?? I am an ole miss guy so as this is my first post you ll learn quickly my sincerity.
I have ole miss locked down at 2 Pitt scares me they had a resurgence and I like their coach. I hate betting on the rebels but they just are a "team" you don't want to fade. There is a sense of momentum and they care about this game. Heavily wounded they went ten rounds at LSU and hammered state at home. Ok. Miss. Sate is not a world beater but it wasnt close. All season I thought against georgia, tex anm, lsu and especially against Bama I thought that this team would been killed. They werent. This team believes and you have young talent that keeps getting better. Young guys who somehow shut great offenses down combined with offensive imagination. That's ole miss. Give me Pitt. Insight. Im homing but ole miss wins this game. They care big time, they are recruiting off of it and freeze, like cryst is the real deal. So tell me something about Pitt. Prelim. I love it. Ole miss 38 Pitt. 24 . Need more info though. |
