Well yall, its Friday, the weather is nice here in NC and Im gonna be relaxin all day. My housemates and I got a keg last night and will be chillin' out all day drinkin' a little bit, watchin some bball and pitchin some horse shoes out back. Really looking forward to this in that we normally get some pretty good action and have some fun wagers going with our horse shoe or corn hole matches. However before getting into all that I want to leave you guys with my plays for the day, I dont have much time so write-ups may be non-existant.
Pretty sure my YTD is 5-6-2: Southern Ill +3 Pretty much just going with the tougher team that plays better D here. App St / Ga Southern Over 154.5 Blindly tailing KGC, that guy is effin' awesome James Madison -2.5 2-0 vs Will and Mary over the year. I know JMU has some guys out but I dont think it will be an issue. Samford -8 Furman is just plain garbage. Ill St -4 Good team w/ 20, but still knows they need to win tourney to go dancin'. Northern Iowa -6 Thats it, take care yall and be safe tonight |

Well I went 2-3 last night bringing the YTD to 5-6-2. Tennessee showed up big time last night and made me look like a fool. I really thought South Carolina would come out to play last night given the circumstances. Regardless this Tennessee team is playing great ball as of late. Dayton, WOW, thought we could get a backdoor with like 4 minutes left but Xavier got into it and just wore them out last night to win the A-10. Not the same Xavier team from last year but their D might make them a solid team to bet on during this upcoming stretch.LBSU and Penn St both cover for me but just barely. Penn St was a great game and I am so happy they covered, because for some unknown reason, deep down inside I hate Bruce Pearl. And then the final loss of the night would be Arizona, who would have know they would have lost their fourth in a row last night and on their home court. Congrats to Cal and Mike Montgomery is doing an outstanding job as their coach.
Not great at all but Im still pretty confident I get back on the right track. Hopefully I can get some things going here with conference tourneys. |

Final Play (for now at least)
Arizona -4 Damn this Zona squad has got to be excited to play a home game tonight. They are coming off a three game road stretch where they went 0-3 during that time. They have however played well at home this year going 14-2 and now get to finish out the year with Cal and Stanford at home. If they can win both of those home games they will close out the year with 20 wins and a 10-8 conference record. All that and one or two W's in the Pac 10 tourney and your dancin'. This game means something to the Wildcats and as long as Jordan Hill plays tonight I feel as though Zona should cover with ease. |

With ya on LBSU and Dayton, keep up the good work buddy. Also congrats on if you took VT plus the points last night. Great ending to a game if you looked at it as we do, with the spread involved.

Couple more:
Penn St +2 I must admit that at the beginning of the year I thought this squad would get walked all over, even in a conference as weak as the Big 10. (I know that may hurt some Big 10 purists but lets be honest conference just is not what it was in years past). However this squad has notched 20 wins and are working towards building a tourney resume for a possible at large. Im taking Penn St here because I feel as though they can beat Illinois again (38-33 PSU over Illinois in their first meeting), especially when they get Illinois away from home. No real numbers to pitch to you or cleaver stats other than this is simply a fade of (what I think) what is an annually overrated Illinois squad (hasnt been that good since Bill Self moved and left the shleves stocked with goodies). Will also think about taking the over 117.5 but will wait untill gametime to pull the trigger if I do so. Long Beach St. -2 This Long Beach team has played well against some decent competition this year (playing well is not winning but it does require skill and effort to not get blown out), and I think they continue that tonight. They have already beaten Cal Poly SLO once this year and Cal Poly is downright terrible, no matter weather they are at home or on the road. So tonight just for the hell of it Snoop and I will both be hoping them boys from the LBC cover. |

SC line does seem to good to be true, almost like when I bit on Miami last night however at least this time Ill be on home chalk rather than road chalk. Ill monitor this game and if the line shifts I may make the call and cancel the wager. Good luck to you, and I cant wait till conference tourney time. |

Alright, things got pretty rough last night with the picks. The Pack and Missou covered but aside from those two it was pretty shitty. A 2-3 night on the night last night. UNC was really close but one or two missed free throws down the stretch prevented the cover. Still 3-3-2 on the year so not really losing anything but juice since posting on here. So Ill keep it up.
YTD: 3-3-2 South Carolina -1.5 This SC team is not like the teams of the past (the Odom years). This is a good team that will be goin dancin' this year, and has enough talent (Downey and my boy Zam Frederick) to maybe take the Gamecocks on an SEC title run, and maybe even the Sweet 16 come dance time. I know Tennessee is a good team with a good coach (aside from B Pearl being a Narc), I just like the situation that this SC team is in for tonight; revenge game (lost at Tenn 82-79), great home team vs. mediocre road team (16-1;SC Home) vs. (5-5; Vols Road), and its senior night, meaning it should be a raucus and emotional home crowd. Dayton +10 This spread jumped out at me immediatly and I am going to jump on it, even if I do get burned. I know its senior night, revenge for Xavier, a good home team hosting a mediocre road team, basically all the reasons why I liked SC. However I am going with Dayton here for similar reasons to why I took FSU the other night. I think 10 points is to much for anyone to give in this game, especially when both team are tourney caliber. I feel like if Dayton can get me around 63, that should be good for the cover. Those are the only two for now but I should be back with a few more later on. Take Care Yall |

Like the leans, I was thinking about Long Beach as well and will most likely pull the trigger on SC.

Well 2-3 last night, with NCSU and Missou hitting and UNC almost hanging on (damn free throws) . Miami and UAB stunk it up for me. Thats what I get for going with UAB on the road.
Still keeping it respecteable with the YTD: 3-3-2 |

Herb is doing great at ASU and I hate him more and more with every win he gets (jealously). He did great things for the Pack but he was boring, never got fired up, and I dont think he did that well with his share of the boosters. However he is killin' it in the Pac-10, and will win a couple in the tounrey depending on their seed. Sydney is a solid coach, and might end up as a great recruiter (please come to NCSU John Wall) but I think he gets the "talk" from Fowler after this year and if we dont at least make the tourney next year hey is probably gone.

I agree with you, and I would not piss on Roy Williams, I have met him with my internship and he is actually a great guy, an awesome coach and does a lot of charity work. However...(in the nicest way) I hate the guy |

I agree with you Bibendi there is a ton of value in a moneyline play on VT, I might even do that on top of the UNC-9. However "Slicerdicer" UNC may win by 10+ tonight and they may lose outright, but your kinda flying off the handle here and making it look like you made your pick cause your a "true blue" and not making these plays with your head, intelligently. I appreciate all input but lets try and keep things civilized around here. PS, SlicerDicer aside from me betting on UNC tonight, that campus and everything with it could sink into the ground and I wouldnt give a damn. example: If I saw Row Williams I wouldnt cross the street to piss down his throat if his teeth were on fire.
