A moose is, NFL football. Every single week there are tons of teams that back door the lines. This weekend was one of the worst I can remember. Maybe it has to do with I played the majority of the games involving the moose. However, it pays to be a good moose hunter, I finished the day going 7-1-1. Practice your bugle and you will be fine.

They are the worst in the business and always get the big game. Where is Gus Johnson when you need him?

5Dimes is driving me crazy as well. I always keep two sites open. One site will let me place my bet and then wont let me view pending and previous bets while the other is the exact opposite.
What are some of their other sites? I use: propbet.com 5dimes.mobi

T- I may ask them for a different country. I didn't know that was an option. I'm also going to request a name and address from Bookmaker. First one to go through can have my money.

Well, I can't seem to get anything to work for me. I have been a member of 5Dimes for a few years now and deposited once with my debit card and once with a Visa gift card. Now it won't accept my debit card or my Citi Credit Card and I tried WU and they said Costa Rica doesn't accept USD.
Also tried Pasteandplay for Bookmaker and they wouldn't accept my Citi card. Said something about my BIN was blacklisted. Whatever that means. How hard can it be!? I would rather not do a bank wire or anything like that. Anyone know if they are still accepting the Visa gift cards? Or anyone have any advice?

I too, am a long time Tennessee fan.
For Saturday, there are a few things that I think will play a huge factor in this game. The first is TN's O-Line ability to give Bray time. Over the last few weeks, if Bray gets the slightest bit of pressure, he throws the ball away and gives up on the play. I don't think you can really judge TN based on the Akron game. That game was obviously a sandwich game between two huge rivals in Florida and Georgia. I stayed away but I would have bet the house, car, kids, whatever on Akron given the 30 something spread. Another point is special teams. As seen in TN's first 3 games, there was a missed extra point in each, along with missed FGs. Most know the story of our frat-tastic kicker and where he comes from. He is very inexperienced and I don't see him handling the pressure on the road very well. Tennessee has all the weapons and talent to very easily win this game and more importantly, cover the spread. However, it all depends on which Tennessee team shows up. Best bet would be to stay away or play small on TN. Good luck this weekend.

Thanks, guys. I was thinking about this last year. For football I really didn't use any system. But I did midway through college basketball season. I started putting together some data that combined a number of different statistical categories and keeping track of what was really "good information." I am always skeptical of systems but for college basketball last year, it was typically on point. I failed at keeping good documentation of it so I wanted to be a little more organized this year.

Hey y'all, with football season getting closer, I was trying to develop a new excel sheet for keeping up with different types of information. I am pretty solid in Excel so I was just trying to get some ideas that y'all may have. I have searched around the interwebs and found a few articles but still can't seem to find what I really want. Thanks!!

I have uploaded the file to google docs. I'd suggest downloading the file and opening it up in Excel. I have focused on mainly using the 4th tab, "Team Pivot" then add the teams to the middle "value field" and you will get a side-by-side comparison. Hopefully it works as I think it does in regards to the format and calculations. Enjoy. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aolw1SyFcHFbdEdVeG92WnhuSHVhWjc3NE5lTWhvOFE |

I had to be a little nerd too and add my own way of looking at it.
I have compiled all of the data into 2 different sheets and then made pivot tables out of them. You can then sort and compare by a particular team. This would be helpful throughout the whole tourney. |

Tennessee played awful but the blown call was HUGE. Tennessee needed at least one win in the SEC tournament to get a bid for the NCAA.

Good reply, Orange.
You know, we all are on this site to win. We all bet on the same damn games and no one has an edge over any other person on this website. (Unless, Varez Ward is your friend.) Most of us come here to gain insight to help us win. Whether it be by tailing every pick of one person or trying to confirm our very own research, we all want to win. Everyday we see a lot of posts that say, "US against the books," so why does every thread constantly have someone degrading another? People want to spend their own time and put together a list of the top capers on this site and people bitch. I have never understood it, and probably never will. Good luck to all of you. |
