Clemson's inability to show up in the big games is a concern for me. They'll definitely have something to prove after getting blown out by WV in last year's bowl, and FSU earlier this year. A bit of a mismatch that favors Clemson is their passing O vs Ohio St's passing D. I like to bet on senior QB's in bowl games and this one is a toss up for me, so I'll take the points. Good luck.

I keep going back and forth on this game. The slight mismatch will be Ole Miss's 24th passing O vs. GT's 87th passing D. GT always provides an interesting matchup with their triple option attack and could control the clock. Ole Miss has won 9 of their last 10 bowls, and I have no problem laying 3 points with an SEC school. Good luck.

I think this game comes down to motivation, which ND will be lacking. Losing their 2 coordinators wont help either. However, with Rutgers decimated secondary, I think ND wins, but doesn't cover. Good luck.

I think "fraud" is a bit harsh, but I'll agree it's probably best they didn't make a BCS bowl, as evident by NIU's performance last year. BG provided a blueprint how to beat NIU, but I'm banking on Lynch ending his college career on a high note. Good luck.

Iowa is a well disciplined, physical team with a solid bowl record. The Mettenberger injury is simply icing on the cake. I love Iowa in this matchup and wouldn't be surprised if they win the game outright. Good luck.

RIce is a feel-good story, winning their first outright conference title since the 50's, but I just don't see a C-USA team competing with an SEC school for 4 qtrs. I see this game being close for a half, with MSU pulling away in the 4th qtr. Can anyone update me on the QB status for MSU? Didn't he get hurt in their last game? |

2 teams going in opposite directions the end of the season. Surprising to me the bowl committee selected Michigan over Nebraska in this one. K-State for me. Good luck.

It's already tough enough keeping a team focused when they go to Hawaii, but I feel like it'll be even tougher for the BS interim coach to do so. Also, the Beavers passing O is 3rd vs. Broncos 93rd passing D so there's your mismatch right there. I'd feel a lot better about taking the Beavers had they not lost their last 6, but early lean Oregon St. Good luck. |

This is one of the tougher games for me to handicap. VT will need to rely heavily on their front 7 to make some plays because their offense sure won't. Coaching edge to VT, in my opinion. Toss up for me at the moment, but would love to hear some feedback on this one...

I don't see the BG coach leaving affecting this outcome too much. Pitt has not impressed me all year and I love the MAC in bowl games. Good luck.

FRESNO ST. +6- I agree. Some coaching changes aren't as big a concern as others. I see this one as a big deal for USC. The team is bummed that Oregron is not coaching and I don't see them being focused or prepared. USC had one of the top passing D's in the Pac 12 and while I give the athletic edge to the Trojans, I'll take Fresno and bank on them being more focused and prepared. Good luck. |

Oops, read the Ohio schedule incorrectly. lorduz, you're right, they finished poorly losing 3 or last 4. My bad. Still leaning Ohio if line exceeds 14. Good luck. |

ECU has been a historically poor bowl team, while Ohio seems to overachieve. While I agree that ECU is the better team on paper, Ohio's pass D is decent enough that they can cover the points in this game. Ohio won and covered 4 of their last 5, so I wouldn't call that stinking the last half of the season.

Buffalo one of the best teams at creating turnovers, and SDSU one of the worst at coughing up the ball. Buffalo for me. Good luck.

Wazzu's 4th rated passing O vs. CSU's 111th rated passing D should prove to be the difference in this game. Wazzu for me. Good luck.

Iowa is probably one of the best bowl teams year in and year out. They may may win outright, but should cover.

South Carolina hasn't won a bowl game since 2006. But, Nebraska has a history of struggling against mobile/dual-threat QB's (Dan Persa/Kain Colter, Russell Wilson, Denard Robinson, Braxton Miller). Head tells me SC, but my heart says Neb. No play for me. Good luck. |

I really want to take SMU in this game, but these teams seem to be going in different directions. SMU lost their last 6 ATS, while Pitt has covered their last 5. Pitt has been up and down all year. Hard to tell which team will show up. |

This scrappy Cyclone team seems to always find a way to cover the points. Besides, Rutgers can't be too happy about bowling in their cold backyard.

Can Notre Dame make it 2 bowl wins in a row? I think not.
