VT never does well in big games. Alabama always does. Repeat of last meeting of these two teams in the Georgia Dome Chick Fil A bowl... Alabama covers and starts the year with a perfect record. Do not be scares of the points but take the pick before the line rises later in the week.

It doesn't really matter who you play but when you play them. Baylor was at the bottom when it comes to good teams??? They were at the time and are now one of the hottest teams in football. They finished the season on a 4-0 run and beat, who you think to be better than Baylor, Texas Tech and Ok State... And Iowa State??? QB problems all year and they just lost to Tulsa? Not better than Baylor... TCU??? Finished the season on a 2-5 run... Not better than Baylor... West Virginia??? When they played KState, they were in the second game of a 5 game losing streak... Not better than Baylor... When KState played both Texas and Ok State, neither of those teams had their starting QB and it was the first game starting their back up. KState was the beneficiary of a fortunate schedule all year... Because Colin Klein was a Heisman finalist everyone thinks that KState is this great team. They were harshly overrated all season, including their QB, Colin Klein! Klein was in consideration for the Heisman? Seriously? 3400 yeards, 37 TD's, and 7 INT's Was he that much better than Freshman Mariota? 3200 yards, 34 TD's, and 6 INT's How about Geno Smith's numbers and Importance to his team? Jordan Lynch? Dare I say Florence? Almost 5000 yards and 43 TD's? Tajh Boyd? All I'm saying is that Klein and KState are overrated. Plenty of other teams and players have comparable numbers while being just as important to their teams. Just because a team was ranked high this year doesn't always mean that their as good as everyone thinks they are... Overrated. Valid points but one thing that your missed. Baylor's defense gives up around 500 yards per game. Terrible. They captured 3 interceptions against Kansas St. so the defense didn't lose that game for them. Baylor would be smashed by any decent team any day of this past season. 37.2 points per game put up against Baylor by opponents. 113th in FBS. That is why Kansas St. did not have a chance of being a one loss team playing Notre Dame verses an Alabama team who lost to a much better Texas A&M team than the Baylor Bears.

That being said, I don't think that Kansas State is as good as everyone thinks they are. Both teams lost to the best teams they played on their schedules, but I feel that Oregon when they won looked much more impressive. I feel sorry for anyone that makes their pick based on these stupid opinions that people like to call facts or statistics. Baylor was at the bottom of the tier when it comes to good teams that Kansas St. played. Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., TCU, West Virginia (because they played them when Geno Smith was still playing good going into this game)and arguably Texas, Miami, Texas Tech, and Iowa St. were all better or were less of an underdog than a shitty and inconsistent team called the Baylor Bears.

Well, Oregon will expose KSU 2x more. To be honest, Oregon laying 9 pts is generous. The adjusted line should be more like -20. Here's another idiot. Blame a game on a kicker... Kicking is not fundamental football. Oregon was favored 18.5 against Stanford so they never should have been in the position to lose the game by a field goal. The Pac 12 is a joke.

Oregon -9 You are an idiot. I think most people would agree that if you get into a BCS game then your coach would be considered to be doing a great job as would the players. You are just mad that they throttled Texas. Kansas St. also had way more quality wins than Oregon so what is this overachieved talk? Having said this Oregon may still cover because of their explosive offense but your reasoning is bullshit.

TO pasesetterpicks: Keep watching spongebob and eating lucky charms you dumb f***. Alabama is playing the Irish so forget about Georgia. Also that 8-12 most impressive wins is the biggest and I mean BIGGEST load of useless s**t I have ever wasted 3 minutes reading in my entire sports following history. Take the Sagarin and shove it up a leprechaun's behind. I know I may seem bias because of my Alabama Icon but I think most people would agree that you are an idiot. Did you spend a week typing this up before the SEC championship so you could post this bullshit when the actual matchup came out? Do everyone a favor and stay away from this website. GL to Bama and Irish but I suggest that everyone stays away from this guys opinion. Let me say this one more time... pacesetterpicks is a toolbag.

Look at Nick Sabans Record in Bowl Games. He lost one with Alabama. The Sugar Bowl in 2008 to an underrated Utah team. Also he was playing with a loser named John Parker Wilson. Since his recruits have taken over the Alabama roster he has not lost a bowl game. Nick Saban will study this game like no other. Alabama almost always shows up in hyped up games such as this one and shocks the country. Remember last year.... LSU did not cross the 50 yard line and Alabama won 21-0. Notre Dame wont fit the bill. SEC takes home 7th Title. BOOK IT DANNO.

Murray, although undersized, has certainly proven to us that hes capable of scoring points in bunches. Once again, these teams have great defenses. We are all well aware of this... Im over hearing Richt will do something stupid to cost his team or that Saban will pull some heroic coaching move to outsmart the bulldogs. The players are on the field. Big time SEC and NFL READY football players. In the end, wouldnt u want the team who has the edge in offensive firepower who happens to be getting 7.5 pts? Big time statement game for Bulldog Nation. UGA plus the points for the LARGE. Prediction: Bulldogs 28 Alabama 30 You are a horrible gambler. Who would buy a half point to go from 7.5 to 8. Do you know the odds of that making a difference in your bet. However, the odds of you losing are about half and then you will pay your bookie more juice for making a bonehead move to buy a half a point.

Alabama fans travel heavy when the steaks are high and there are plenty of people from Atlanta that go to school at Alabama because of Georgia being a hard school to get accepted to. This is not a home game for Georgia. The game would have the same crowd if it was played in Miami, which it probably should be.

I love to respond to people like you. First of all, Alabama may play a few bad teams but Notre Dame plays bad teams all year. I mean who is Pittsburgh, Boston College, Miami, and the Purdue Boilermakers??? Are you kidding me? Alabama could have beat Pitt with their third string and still not have given up a TD much less taken the game to overtime. Alabama has violated every team they have played except LSU and Texas A&M. Now look where those teams are sitting... 7th and 8th respectively. So do not even go there with Alabama's schedule. Alabama raped Michigan and Notre Dame almost failed to get to double digits on offense against them at home. Alabama played them in Dallas with a split crowd. I cannot wait to show the nation and Lou M***** F***** Holtz why the SEC is the premier legue. Alabama beats the Irish 31-10 in Miami. Roll Tide and Merry Christmas to Notre Dame fans because the New Year will be very depressing.

La Tech is giving up 531 points a game. Texas A&M is evolving as a team and wins by 10-14 this week. Muddogs are overranked because of many early season losses.

LSwho? This team is overrated and Les Miles is a terrible game manager in the close matchups. South Carolina is the real deal this year and they are picking up speed.
