I have hated the jets in the first 2 playoff games and got burned.
They Steelers O'line is a mess and it seems Rex Ryan is a better coach than I expected. With Revis covering Wallace and the Jets getting to Big Ben I see the Jets winning outright but at the very worst a cover of 3.5. Both teams have played difficult schedules but what the jets did to Brady last week is exactly what the Giants did to Brady in 2007. Completely different game plans in the Manning and Brady games. Polumalu doesn't look healthy either. I know this next statement holds no merit but I think the Jets want it more. What's the worst record in Football?.....18-1

Sorry dude my mind is all over the place. I dont know if I should bet opposite my picks so if I go 1-3 in my football pool I'll win about 500 with my bet?

And if so how? I'm in a football pool with 50 other people and I'm tied for first and 3rd place is only 1 game back. I paid 300 for the year I've won 2 weeklys at 300 per and the year end is 3k,1700, 1000.
So since I've made it this far I'd really like to win. Oh yeah, I threw up a deuce in the week after the byes ended. I've gotten a lot of help on covers throughout the weeks and it's much appreciated. I need to know if there is any way I can hedge my bets and guarantee myself about 2k? Right now I love Chicago and Pitt. I can't with a clear conscience bet Seattle on the road when they've played one good game all year and it was last week and have given up at least 33 pins EVERY week since Oct 31 except to the Panthers Az, and St loo. If you think Seattle can put up 24 on a very very good Chicago dee then more power to you. Pitt/Balt. Everything points to a 3 point game but I think it's Pitt by a td. I've waffle back and forth on the ALT/GB game all week and was prepared to take the packers only because of the 2.5 pins and a better dee but Matt Ryan is 20-2 at home and this is by FAR the best team he's had around him and GB played Sunday night in a hard fought battle with Philly so I think I'm going ATL. Atl is also getting no respect for a team that was 13-3 so they'll play with the proverbial chip. Jets/NE no fucking idea. I'm a Giants fan so I hate the Jets and their loudmouth coach and fans. Only thing worse than Jets fans are Eagles fans I also hate NFC east especially the Eagles. They're back home where their sorry asses belong. Eagle fans can say what they want about the game a few weeks ago but the Giants beating New England is still fresh in my memory what are you fabulous Eagles Superbowl memories. Sorry to rant but YES I'm still pissed about the loss to the Eagles because the Giants are as good as any team in the playoffs. Good luck everybody.

I've been flip flopping all week on Alt/Gb and in a game that is this close a matchup you gotta take the dog and the better dee.
So I'm on Gb. Love Pitt and Chicago. Jets/NE no play or NE. Aside from Revis the Jets offense and defense are both enigmas.

I was shocked that the Seahawks could dominate the Saints but that was in Hawkland and this is in Chitown. The Hawks have giving up 30 plus points to EVERYBODY they've played since mid October except for the Panther, Cardinals and Rams. If you think Seahawks can put up 24 pins against a stout Bears dee with an extra weeks rest then bet Seattle otherwise you gotta bet the Bears.
Just because the Hawks found some magic last week doesn't mean they're the 2007 Giants. A few more numbers: Hawks 28th in total offense 27th in dee. The Bears are a much better team than the on that lost to the Giants early in the year. Also 22 degrees with 20 mph winds.

I'd like to see the opening drive stats for TD, FG and punts. Kitty makes an interesting argument. Deferring is a new thing because the rule was only changed last year.
The only time not to defer is if your defense SUCKS. I agree with Katz getting the ball to start the 2nd half is usually more important than the opening kickoff when adrenaline and nerves are still peaking. Deferring can screw you up if the other team goes on an 8 minute drive and scores a TD to start the game.

The Jets will always be the Jets. Little shit brother to the Giants.
When the Jets go 6-10 in 2011 or 2012, your ASSHOLE coach "big Rex" and his toe sucking ass will be shown the door.

You make a compelling argument but look at these:
33 Oak, 41 Giants, 18 Az, 34 NO, 42 KC, 14 Car, 40 SF, 34 atl, 38 Tb, 6 St Loo. Since October 31st the only teams the Hawks have kept under 33 pins are Carolina, AZ, and St loo. Only St Louis has any semblance of a QB and he's a rookie. Couldn't put my money on this Seahawks team.
