Now to show how some stats can be misleading ... Since 1950 there have only been 2 QB's to improve year to year, in each of their first 3 years (min 10 starts) in each of the following 5 categories; Wins Pass Yds Completion % INT % Passer Rating Those 2 QB's are ... Josh Allen Justin Fields

Since 2001 only 2 QB's have won fewer than 20 games and lost at least 25 games. They are now both on the Steelers Russ Wilson 17-27 Justin Fields 10-28 |

@iConsciousness It's a great day for all Bears fans. For the first time since the 1950's they will have a legit NFL QB

Been a great NFL off-season, with a decent amount of trades with a few total surprises, plus some interesting free agent signings. Been a fun off-season .... unless you're a fan of the Cowboys Although Dallas did sign Eddie Kendricks. His best work is behind him, mostly with the Temptations

If they draft one of the QB's at #1 (Jayden Daniels?) and that QB is legit, than they can afford to keep all their young talent, and have plenty of money to spend on FA's to help the rookie QB along. A drafted QB might not be the answer, but the same can be said for Fields. Only one of them is going to have a big contract very soon. |

Sac's gotta be happy with the Bears signing Jaylon Johnson to a manageable 4 year deal. With the young talent on Chi, and some big contracts to be paid out over the next couple of years to keep them together, the right move is to draft a QB and use the savings of having an inexpensive QB to get a couple of high-end free agents. If the Bears do this, and they draft the right QB, they will be a SB contender for the next 4-5 years |

Let alone in the Midwest, and out doors if Chicago chooses to draft him. Looking over the track record of USC quarterbacks drafted in the past doesn't leave me with any vote of confidence. Do the right thing Chicago, Ryan Poles, the Bears future is in your hands. Sac, Our favorite HS scout is on record as saying Caleb Williams will be a star. Judging by this scouts track record, Williams will be out of the NFL in 3 years. For your teams sake, they would be well advised to not draft Williams. Rumor has it that the Falcons are very high on Justin Fields. Chicago's off-season is the most interesting of any teams in a long time. Good time to be a Bears fan |
