DU made a coaching change in the offseason and with that change will be a major change on offensive philosophy. Coach Scott was a Princeton-Style coach, which meant slow, slow, and more slow. Now, with the addition of Rodney Billups, comes a much more up-tempo style. The pace in DU's previous game was there, and I believe this team should be an over machine for the first part of the season until the books catch up. I see tomorrow nights total at 149.5, which means that the books acknowledge the possible higher tempo on the part of DU. I will tread lightly, as I am not 100 percent certain that San Jose will want to run. Judging by the Portland game, they seem to want to move at a quicker pace, but there still is some concern about scoring ability.

I am expecting the pace to be quite quick in San Jose, and I will gladly take the over 149.5. DU looks to be a team that will run and gun, and they don't have nearly what it takes on the defensive end.

DU has a match up with Eastern Washington coming up, which I have circled as a pounder. I think that game gets into the upper 160's to lower 170's. I don't think the books hang the number on that game above 155. They certainly won't be the sexiest team on the board, but I think they come through for those who take overs.

CU is in uncharted waters right now and they are playing like it. This was arguably one of the worst college football teams of the past three years. Now you have a bunch of losers playing meaninful games. They are all tight and playing not to lose. They aren't playing with the tempo they had been, and the offense is suffering. I think they smash Arizona and then drop either the Wazzu game, or most likely, the Utah game. Laying points in their remaining home games could be a very bad idea.

The EGYH portion was just pointing out the heavy swings, unrelated to marijuana. Looks like everyone is continuing to position for next week.

As an over player on NBA totals, I could not have been more happy to see Mike D. as the new coach of the Rockets. These two could not be a better pair. The preseason showed me all I needed to see with this Rockets team, and I fully believe that they are good for 130 tonight. I do not see enough discipline on the Lakers to believe that they aren't going to get out and go with the Rockets. Luke Walton is more of an up-tempo coach as it is, and I can see this game going well into the 250's.

Over 222 Rockets/Lakers

Philly +9 and +425 - I'm relying a bit on my memory here, but I think the Sixers always tend to hang around against the Thunder.

Celtics -12 - Brooklyn is easily the worst team in the league, and I think the up and coming Celtics flat out wax them tonight.

Special shout out to my boys at North Texas. I can't name a single one of you, but solid SU win over Army last weekend.

This weekend will easily be the most square weekend that I will ever have, but I am confident that another profitable week is to come.

Wisconsin -7.5 - Plain and simply put, Nebraska is not in the same class as Wisconsin. The Huskers are usually not comfortable getting smashed in the mouth, and Saturday night, they will get a heavy dose of just that. The eye test leans heavy to Wisky, as I watched both the Oregon and Wyoming games for the Huskers from start to finish, and there was nothing impressive about Nebraska whatsoever. They don't look like a top 10 team, they don't play like a top ten 10, and after Saturday night, they will no longer be a top 10 team. Farmageddon goes to Wisconsin by double digits.

West Virginia -4 - Easily the worst product Okie light has put on the field in a decade. WVU actually plays defense, and that is why I have no trouble laying points on the road, in conference. This WVU team is another that will smack you in the mouth, and OSU is prone to some slow starts. Put those two together, and that is a recipe to get beaten at home. I think the Mountaineers will go unbeaten, and we could have a party crasher in the final four.

Texas Tech/TCU over 84.5 - Haven't seen a weather forecast, and quite frankly, I don't care. Neither team plays a lick of defense. Won't be surprised to see another 66-59 type game out of the Red Raiders. They truly are embarrassing, but as long as they keep giving me the overs, whether it be opponents team totals, or game total overs, I will keep going to this well.

UCF +9 - Houston officially has nothing to play for, and most likely their coach has already signed on the dotted line at Texas. Greg Ward should now start to protect his draft stock, and I think it is unlikely that we see him play with the same reckless abandon that got the Cougars to where they were in the first place. I wouldn't be shocked to see the Knights with the outright win, but I feel more comfortable with the points.

Sunday: Pats -6.5, Packers money line, Chargers money line (they are going to win the AFC West) Titans -3.5, Bengals -3, Seahawks -2.5, and Vikings -6.

Having seen my fair share of Nebraska games, I am comfortable in saying that is not a top ten team. Keep in mind, they should have lost to Oregon, if not for the sheer stupidity of their coach. Madison at night equals a beat down of the Huskers in my opinion. Wisky by double digits.

I am on Kez, Hamlin and Logano.

The practice I saw, Kez worked his way through the draft and then never gave up the lead. He is the new Dale Jr. when it comes to restrictor plate racing, and he will be desperate tomorrow.

Weather will be a factor today, and UNT has had two weeks to prepare for this game. I think it will be sloppy and +18 will be solid.

I've had this weekend circled on the calendar for a couple of weeks now, as I see a lot of great spots to make a killing.

CU@Stanford – Classic case of names on jerseys versus talent on the field. Colorado has already faced a big, physical, punch you in the mouth team in Michigan. CU was flat out dominating in the first half, only to fall apart with the loss of Sefo. With Sefo back in the lineup, the tempo game is back, and most importantly, it is efficient. He brings a much better ability to think quickly and make the correct decisions. With the ankle no longer being an issue, Colorado should be able to move the ball at will. In general, Stanford struggles with these up-tempo teams, and Wazzu basically provided the gameplan to beat Stanford. Look for Colorado to do the exact same thing as Wazzu did, with the exact same results. This CU is fast and physical on defense, and learning from the Michigan game, they will avoid kicking to McCaffrey, which limits Stanford's ability to put points on the board. CU is the better team, and I see an outright win. +1.5 on the Buffs.

Arkansas Money line +300 – Arkansas should be able to control this game on the offensive line. Rotating QB's isn't the way to beat this Hogs team.

WKU/ODU over 67.5 – Defense appears to be optional again at WKU. Still a potent offense.

Oklahoma team total over 49.5 – Won't be shocked if they are close to this at the half. They will be able to do whatever they want offensively.

Alabama team total over 38 – Another team that will be able to do whatever they want on offense.

CSU money line +120 - Vital game for the Rams if they think they are going bowling. With the run game as strong as it is for the Rams, they should be able to stay in control of this game.

OU over 49.5/Bama over 38/Washington over 45/ Arky over 23 – 4 teamer.

UNT Money line +700

Colorado to win the Pac 12 - 4/1 - If you look at how CU's division shakes out, the only way they cannot win, is if USC goes in and beats Washington, and the Buffs completely collapse. I think they win the division, and once they get to the title game, anything can happen. Don't count out Wazzu coming out of the other division either.

I'm writing in Mark Cuban. I like the idea of an anti-establishment successful billionaire running the show, just not the current option. Won't matter anyways, we are in for four of the worst years the country has ever seen.

Bottom line:  Trump wins everywhere Romney won, and likely carries Florida......Ohio is going to be real close

Romney lost 332-206 - Even if Trump wins Florida and Ohio, he still loses. Like I said, put this thread in the fantasy section.

Trump backers have to rely on WikiLeaks and Russia to get some dirt on Clinton, whereas Clinton backers just have to rely on people that have actually met Trump to get the goods on him.
