Feldman has stumbled a little. Always good to find an underdog though. Who else gets swept?

Despite Freedman having some shaky starts of late, this looks like a tempting underdog... anyone agree or dis- ... ?

Billingsley looks good -- the obvious pick at odds that are not too high... anyone have anything impressive to say about San Diego?

Hou +190 Hmm. How come so many sensible comments have "Spaceman" at the top? And so responsive. Cheers, Assassin |

Bombers +117 Best to everyone Spaceman Good points; I would just say -- 1. Wang's a little better. Like he managed to beat the Mets. Good for him. But not enough today. 2. Good observation about some Yankee changeover, but Jeter, ARod, Posada, Matsui, Canoe, Damon still the same. 3. Yah, this park is different, as we know statistically. But it's no treat for Wang either, and may be worse in the sense that it always seems to bother him and other Yankee pitchers. They're obsessed by it. This is either a bargain price, or a losing bet, and thus, no bargain at all. I think it's a bargain. I just wish more people disagreed with me. |

1. Thanks to easypics for most of the above. Some interesting stuff in there. I agree about the value of Covers, and its value increases when there's a real discussion. 2. Chicago First 5 innings looks obvious to me... anyone have an intelligent idea of why we should bet Milwaukee, for 5 or 9? / FA / |

p.s. -- does anyone have an intelligent rationale for betting Washington? It seems so obvious... the line is low... the braves are actually okay on the road, and hitting better with their new gift from pittsburgh...
in fine, what am I missing? |

Best place to check is SportsNetwork.com. More up to date injury info, and they will post the actual lineup well enough in time before the game to bet it.

Does anyone know anything about French?
Please, no puns -- I'm serious. This seems so obvious for Minnesota... even if Morneau misses... but there must be another side. / FA / |

Halladay? Against Wang? I would think we really like Toronto in this one, especially first 5 innings.
In addition, he seems to have acuired title to the Yankees... But it's good to think things through... Does anyone have an intelligent theory of why we bet the Yankees in this game? Cheers, FA |

I just want to say thanks to everyone who contributed to the above discussion, and especially those who PMed me --
I find talking things through really helps me, and the confidence I derived led me to put some significant exposure onto the White Sox -- and on the runline. Appreciatively, Female Assassin |

Godspeed! well, if you are making tons of money with minimal analysis, i say, stick wit hit. me, i'd rather over- than under- you would think KC has to win one, and Chisox are due to lose one soon. i just don't think, or hope if i take the proposition, that tonight's the night. maybe later, e.g., when greinke goes again and tries to make up for his last effort against them. |
