I would think they'd fix it if you brought it to their attention. Looking at their parlay rules it clearly states a push reduces the number of teams bet. Which is how it should be.

My condolences to you and your family Search. I feel for you having to make that phone call. Had to make that call a couple years back when my brother died. Its simply awful.

He doesn't need to dig the hole any deeper, but it looks like credit card advances for now and still thinking that he can win. Nothing wrong with partying your behind off, but making gambling decisions while holding on to what little money is left, is a tough combo.

Get a job and go back to betting as a hobby and he may turn it around and be able to stay out there. But right now he's hell bent on on losing every last dime that he has. Which will only makes things worse, as if they aren't difficult enough right now. But as its his choice on what to do, I can't imagine he'll do anything but pawn all the stuff he has and do credit card advances and probably a car title loan if he hasn't already done that.

Hope for his sake that ends the gambling career. Coke binging then firing $3000 parlays not the best recipe for success.

https://watchdogsarasota.heraldtribune.com/2015/12/26/scarred-come-get-ur-bite/ The story happened almost 4 years ago. This link does give a little of the aftermath. Are some lawsuits pending, but otherwise it looks like not much happened to the cops who perpretrated this. One was arrested for domestic violence 3 years after the incident. Not sure where it states this kid was autistic. Suicidal yes. Still doesn't excuse what the police did in this or how it was handled afterward by the department either. |

Don't think he can claim hardship in his situation, but still a good idea to for him to look into it and see if there's a way around the penalties.

For years I wanted to quit but never understood how I would be able to. It was a consistent cycle of spinning my wheels. At best I could maybe go a week. A friend of mine who was going through AA at the time gave me the Big Book. I didn't agree with all that was written in there but I did find a lot of relatable material. i also found a AA website that I used to read constantly. I never went to an AA meeting, but there were certain things that just started to click in my head and made sense. One of the major points was that I can't drink like a normal person. My body and brain does not have the mechanism anymore to say you need to stop. I may have had that at one time, but it became later that I would only stop when I passed out or ran out of booze and the stores were closed.
Now I'm coming up on 4 years sober. It was a lot of work but its certainly doable. For months at the beginning, the brain tries to rationalize every which way to get the booze back in your system. Best of luck to your cousin if/when/however he decides to tackle it.

I am wrong. Seeing as Rose is on the permanent ineligible list for baseball, he is also ineligible for the Hall because of that. Rule was established in 1991.

Manfred could only reinstate him to baseball. He has no bearing on the Hall of Fame. They could vote him in now if he was on the ballot. Granted reinstatement to baseball would have greatly helped him getting into HOF. He could also have been reinstated and the HOF still could have said we don't want you in.
Either way, I'm not much for HOF's in any sports.

Love these fictitious bet stories! Westgate, or any Las Vegas casino, taking a 500k future bet with 4.5 million in exposure, plus doing it via wire transfer? Yeah, ok. Enjoy the fake sweat in the World Series!

Not all Cubs fans are like that. But I do agree with you that there are a lot out there like that. The Bartman debacle was pretty pathetic. What should be remembered from that night is Alex Gonzalez booting that potential double play ball that would have got them out of the inning with no damage. Instead its Bartman. As a Cubs fan myself, there are no excuses for losing to the Mets. They were clearly the better team and their pitching staff made the Cubs lineup look like they had no clue at the plate. And Murphy was a monster at the plate.

To be fair you did make one ML favorite bet last year. Jets at home against Bears.
