Wow good thing you stayed off Pacers.....up 22 at start of 4th to win by 6 (-7 spread) from a last minute meaningless layup. This is shaping up to be a brutal night.

I'm on the over in the Brazil/Russia game at 2.5 (-145)
I'm liking the strong lineup for Brazil but i'm just worried this isn't a sucker's bet! Best of luck to you with this and your other plays and let's go goals!

You convinced me on the Grizz but I'm still stickin with the Pacers (reluctantly but i'd be more pissed if I didn't play and they covered) and going Lakeshow as well.
Also on Richmond in NCAA as I think they are just the better team with a stronger schedule. All 2 unit plays. Let's cash all these!

The talent and experience is definitely there.......and the injuries have probably actually helped a little in giving their age some extra rest. Kobe is just a beast so he needs no rest: he just needs his shot to ball out in the playoffs so like you said those 3 teams need to be careful in that first round. Lookin forward to betting on those playoff series.
Looks like it's a Pacers/Lakers night for me

My bad I hit refresh or something by accident when i got back from lunch and for some reason it reposted my last post.
Good call on the injuries for the IND game, I'll likely wait closer to gametime then make a play....but am leaning kinda heavy IND still at the moment. I'm liking the Lakers play more and more myself too. It would be nice if they were getting another point or 2 but I'm actually more confident with the line set here.

Obviously if David West doesn't play that's a handicap.......but I think Hansborough coming in will be able to get in Josh Smith's head with his style of play and throw him off his game (which isn't too difficult). The Pacers defend the 3 well enough to slow down Teague/Korver/Harris so with the off-game I see from Smith I don't think Horford can do enough by himself against Hibbert to keep it close.
Also, Vasquez is out tonight for the Hornets so that should reallt help the Nuggets case.......but i'm still likely gonna stay away myself.

so you come on here to learn how other people handle their money or you come here to find some picks/insight?
Dude even says this at the beginning of this thread: "MY MONEY MANAGEMENT I WILL ADMIT IS THE WORST OF ANYONE, BUT REMEMBER YOUR MONEY IS YOUR MONEY AND YOU CAN MANAGE IT HOW YOU LIKE. I WILL JUST SUPPLY THE WINNERS" So like i said earlier, if he can afford all those crazy numbers then by all means good for him. If he is pretending and not even making these bets then good for him. If he's only betting $10 a game then good for him. I DON'T CARE. For all I care he is talking about monopoly money. But when he helps me win money with consistent solid picks that I take into consideration and do my own analysis on: then I do care. And that's what I personally come on here and what I had thought the purpose of these forums were. I guess people with extra time on their hands find other purposes for these forums........ TO HOLYDIVER: for future reference (although I'm sure it's too late by now) just use "units" for all your bets and get rid of all those zero's. That is literally the only thing that you need to do to shut everyone up.

I'm a little scared of the Memphis game too after looking at how well Washington has been playing at home recently. They've beaten the Knicks, Nets, Nuggets, Rockets, and Clippers all at home since February (and Thunder in January). They have just really been a different team since Wall has gotten healthier.
Also I just can't bring myself to lay that many points on the road in the Heat game. I'm sure they will likely cover, but I just can't pull the trigger. Magic first half is prob the play as it usually is with these lower echelon teams against the Heat. Also being a Florida rivalry will play a small (very small) role in the Magic's motivation to come out with just a bit extra. I agree the Magic personnel simply isn't there: but neither were the Spurs' when they almost beat the Heat with their bench. DEN game i haven't looked at in depth yet but likely will stay away with a similar road favorite scenario. Nuggets also are usually a great 2nd half play due to their pace and slowing other teams down (espec at home with the thin air) so I may wait to see if there is a play there for both the Nugs and Heat games. What do you think about the Pacers (-7) tonight at home against the Hawks? You are usually on them and I see a good spot for them comin off a loss at the Bulls and facing the Hawks off a B2B. I think they should roll by DD covering the 7 points no problem. Thoughts? To me it just looks like a safer bet then the 3 road faves........haha but naturally looks can be deceiving espec in the betting world.

You had 20 million on the Miami Heat last night to win 1.5 mil?? Anyone can get to plus "x" million with crazy money line bets and a fake bankroll, If you are down 2-3 mil, play 3-4 teams at +600 or more at 6 mil for 1. Not too hard.. But you get people like me to respond to your crap, so it's working. You need to relax man, who cares?!!??!.......his picks have actually been pretty solid ATS as well over the tourney. Again, who cares how much money he says he is betting: just look at them all as units in your head. I still don't get why you people get so upset about all this? And you can't totally disregard a ML bet......they wouldn't exist if people didn't take them. If you are sure a team is gonna win but be close to covering it (and don't want to deal with most of the end of game BS) then taking the favorite ML is the play. Obviously the juice is not advantageous, but getting all those points back often is!

I completely understand all that.......but at least for me I don't come on here to see how other people handle their own money/wagers: I come here purely for the picks/insight. Which have been rock solid recently from this guy. Otherwise, like you said, just look at all those silly wager numbers as entertainment. If he can afford all that, then good for him.

But he was 8-3 yesterday on his posted picks.......I still don't see the problem? Do you come on here for his picks or because you care about his personal money management?
Take his pick, do some of your own research, and wager whatever you feel is appropriate if anything at all. And then thank him if he helped you win. Isn't that the point of these forums? |

I don't understand why everyone is making such a big deal about the $ amounts?? Who cares just look at them as "units" and all that matters anyway is the man's picks and win %: which have been pretty spot on so please keep them comin holydiver!
