My NFL futures bets
Hey all I like doing season bets and have profited them for the last 2 years in a row, this year I'm on
$1000 for a return of $1970
Bengals under 8.5wins
Bengals had a nice draft and there is alot of hype especially from their fans. Too much hype actually, the rookies will be hit and miss on how much they can contribute this season. The big downfall from last year for them is the loss of their left tackle Andrew Witworth who was a top5 left tackle last year and also Kevin Zeitler a nice guard. They will most likely have one of the worst offensive lines in football and Andy Dalton has very bad grades when under pressure.
$1000 for a return of $1910
Bears OVER 5 wins
The bears have a solid defensive line and offensive line. I also like a couple of their prospects at WR. Jordan Howard will have another good year. They were top 3 for most injured teams last year. If either Glennon or Trubisky can provide them with around average QB play they will get these 5 wins easy.
$403 for a return of $1410
Eagles to win NFC EAST
Giants receiving alot of hype with fans discussing superbowl chances . They will most likely take a small drop in their defense which graded at top 3 last year, i see them more of a 8-10th defense. Eli's arm is definitely regressing and he was graded a bottom 5 quarterback last year, another bad offensive line. Washington will have to try to outscore all their opponents, very weak defense. This leaves us to Cowboys and Eagles. The cows deserve to be favorite but the Eagles odds are to high and I think they will have a top 2 defensive lines in the league with nice linebackers and safetys. Corners are a question mark but they added Darby who will give them a solid number 1 corner. Their offensive line is top 10, they have better receivers than last year and Wentz should be better this year.
$1000 for a return of $1690
Pitt to win AFC North
Pitt will have one of the best scoring offenses in the NFL and a great offensive line, top 4. They should have around or just below and average defense. This is more of a fade on other AFC North teams than anything else. As above I think the Bengals will do poor as above. Ravens already have alot of injuries and I don't see them getting more than 7 or 8 wins. Browns definately are alot better however it is too early for them to compete for the division title, perhaps next year.
$275 for a return of 1306
Packers to win NFC Championship Game
What can you say? Aaron Rodgers is a master. They will be scary good on offense with Benett coming for them. Nice group of WRs. Their defense isn't great but their corner play from last year should be improved. The odds were nice on this so had to jump on. Aaron should just be able to outscore his opponents. Their main question marks are running back and corners.
