In the passing game, Fresno State’s passing defense is better than Colorado’s passing offense and Fresno State’s passing defense is likely to produce an interception in this game. Moreover, Fresno State’s pass rush is likely to produce multiple sacks in this game. In the rushing game, if Colorado’s offensive line was fully healthy and all of their offensive line starters were starting at their usual position, Colorado’s rushing offense would be better than Fresno State’s rushing defense, but that is not the case for this game. Because of Colorado’s problems on their offensive line, Fresno State’s rushing defense is better than Colorado’s rushing offense. Special teams are unlikely to have a significant effect on the outcome of this game. If Fresno State builds a big early lead, which is probable, some of Colorado’s players, especially Colorado’s many young players, may experience panic and frustration that causes those Colorado players to lose mental discipline, emotional discipline, and/or physical discipline that results in those Colorado players missing assignments, losing turnovers, and/or committing penalties. Simply stated, there is a high risk that Colorado may self-destruct in the first half. My Pick: Fresno State -15.5 Nicely put and good analysis MWCFBAnalysis. The safer pick is Fresno ST, just be careful because of so far it hasnt mattered who is on each of these teams the games are usually pretty close decided by 10 or less points. Maybe this is the year that changes that trend |

This game is a tough pick for me following Fresno St as much as I do. Honestly the line is pretty close to where I think Fresno will win by. I dont think Fresno wins by anymore then 17 if even that. I am kind of iffy taking Fresno after they did put an effort to keep things close with Oregon and Fresno has a habit of playing to their level of competition. Be a little weary if you are thinking about taking Fresno. The safer pick is probably the under on this one since Colorado struggles so much on offense and Fresno doesnt exactly light up the scoreboard either. Hope this helps anyone deciding on this game.

I know I am new here but I live in Fresno and follow the team pretty close. Fresno has more then enough offense to cover -35 against Oregon. Fresno is a better team then Ark. St and will play somewhat better then they did. Fresno will probably give up 50 but can easily score at least 20 to cover. If the line goes anything over 35 thats just a bonus.
