Mikael,
to everyone who fights against Islamic Terrorists. The one thing I have noticed in my 4 months here at covers ( actually I lurked some time too ) is that you CONSTANTLY bash the USA. Now I don't know if you have any siblings, but, I think of it this way. I can make fun of my brother or sister, but, when anyone outside the family makes fun of them, then blood is thicker than water, and they would have to answer to me ( I am the oldest of all the kids ) We Americans are pretty much the same as a family. We disagree plenty with our leadership, and we speak out, but, when socialists from other nations that rolled over like bitches during WWII, and needed the Allies to save their pitiful asses from the Germans want to tell Americans how badly the USA sucks, you have to expect proud Americans are going to push back. I have a deal for you if you don't want any more criticism of Denmark from me. You ignore USA politics, and I will ignore politics from Denmark. Does that sound like a fair deal? |

I have a friend who works for NASCAR and NASCAR has a specific way they want the flags waved during the race. Beginning flag - Green...gets a specific wave Final flag- Checkered....gets a specific wave He had to go train with Denmark's military to learn how to wave the flag for "one lap left" |

Great info guys
Keep it coming, I like learning about how other nations celebrate. Mikael, I wasn't insulting the Danes, I was trying to learn more about your culture. I once even heard that many people from the USA go to Denmark for job training. I am sure they are indebted to Denmark's military for the training they provided |

Israel
Tough call, but, when there is a gutless President sitting in the White House ( actually he is on vacation again...maybe he wasn't available... out shooting hoops, meeting with Bill Ayers, attending a Reverend Wright sermon....who knows ) You will see Israel stepping up their game and proactive approach towards enemies now that Obama has shown his disdain for Israel |

Kinison was great. I never cared for Dice and even when he is on Howard these days, it's the same lame stuff.
Nice hit on the MMA bet the other night. How is the trip treating you? Are you up or down? |

I know most of us here are from the USA, but, I have to admit I don't know about how other nations celebrate those that served in the military.
I know we have representation from Canada, Australia, Denmark and other nations.......... How do they celebrate in those countries, and other countries represented here? What about Australia? I know Australia lost many men in WWII and other wars since How do you celebrate those that fought for Australia? What about Canada? Canadians have also died defending what they believe in. How and what date do you celebrate those that fought for Canada? What about Denmark? Do people leave the security of safe rooms long enough to reunite with the 5 year old granddaughters they left outside, peek outside the window to make sure the coast is clear, and then go outside to recognize those that serve in the military or served? Please tell us about how your nation celebrates the service to their countries |
