With relevance comes attention, and for the Carolina Panthers, that attention may have led to a show of nerves Friday.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera said he noticed his players practicing nervously Friday morning, which he characterized as making mental mistakes and missing assignments.

“I said, ‘Hey guys, let’s focus back in. We’re a little nervous, we made some mistakes that we normally don’t. Let’s focus in and that’s what we’re trying to do,’” Rivera said. “We’re trying to emphasize it’s another game.”

Leaning San Fran, Carolina has trouble with running QB's that can expose what they've been trying to hide.  View
Carolina -7.5. This is a very personal game for the Carolina Panthers defense . Matt Ryan asked them to get the F off his field. Love those angles. View

Well San Francisco only has two postseason road wins in franchise history and none since beating Chicago on Jan.8, 1989.

gl..nice looking card

When Jay Cutler is sharp, they are damn near unbeatable. The Bears are 25-0 when he has a 100-plus passer rating.

Does it not seem odd to all of you they are favored over the 49ers, Steelers. Ravens, Broncos, Eagles, Saints and the Giants?

They may be a very good squad, maybe.

Time will tell.
I do like them to win the Super Bowl.

You did not mention the mighty Chicago Bears. Nobody do like they do.

The Steelers have not lost the week following a bye since Mike Tomlin's first season. And they haven't lost back-to-back games since Week 13 of the 2009 season. The Eagles, are coming off a tough divisional victory against the Giants. And they can't score points (66).

23-13 Steelers  Charlie

The Jets allowed the Bills to rush for 195 yards and the 49ers to rush for 245. And, in the past seven quarters of the losses to the Steelers and 49ers, Mark Sanchez has completed 19 of 52 passes for 161 yards. That's 36.5 percent, in case you're wondering.

  Texans 23-20
