You are a scholar and a gentleman fine sir. I'll drink to your buzz this afternoon while I prep steak, shrimp, mushroom, and assorted vegetable skewers for the grill. Cheers/Prost |

@Biscuiteater1 3-2 ATS and 5-0 S/U. Typically just profitable for me. I played 5 more games today and am 3-0 (UConn,Baylor,Clemson) with St. Marys -5.5 and Houston -23.5 pending. All chalk for now. I suspect the weekend will need better balance but still chalky. For instance Colorado has played twice in 3 days and were perfect vs. Florida today and almost lost. I mean look at the stats. Colo set season highs in FG% and FT%. That will come crashing back down to earth on Sunday vs. Marquette. On Saturday give me UNC(4) and Gonzaga(4) again with an underdog play on Washington State +7. Is Barbasol shave cream the best value men's grooming product on the market? I mean if you shave, it's less than 2 bucks a can and lasts for 3 months. |

@Cranky_Hank What kind of geese don't fly? Portuguese. Why are there no Puerto Ricans in Star Trek? Because they won't be working in the future either. What do you call an angry German? A Sauerkraut. And the coup de grace : A wealthy woman hired a Polish man to take care of her pet fish while she went on vacation. When she got back she asked "Have you changed the water?" The Pollock replies "No, they didn't drink it all yet." Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars...

Watching Zaga/MNST. #3 on McNeese State has the best head of lettuce I've ever seen. Reminiscent of Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons but with color and flair. Must watch TV. |

Big mistake is thinking that every first round game is an upset in the making. These 5 for Thursday will pay : Arizona -20.5 UNC -25 Zaga -6.5 Kansas -6.5 Oregon ML (E) only dog that has a significant edge. Better name for a town, Pascagoula MS or Paducah KY ? |

@sportschat
Jax on everybody's top 10 list last year drops to #21 (while going 9-8) and Houston goes to #5. I guess they have to throw ranking numbers out there somehow. |

2-3 Rays games at the dark and dismal Trop in Tampa for me. Just when I spend a few days in town, go to Seminole Hard Rock and let them give me a few nights free at some cheap ass hotel. Hat Tricks Bar downtown is a must go destination. Quick walk from there to the trolley which takes you to Ybor City which is a lively place day or night. |

Picking golfers for top 40 finishes (mostly at plus money) is like shooting fish in a barrel if you do your diligence. Nothing is ever foolproof but I rake small change on golf all spring/summer long. Air fryer wings plus lime marinated black bean/corn salsa, and shrimp ceviche for tomorrow. Some smoked fish dip and crackers too. I'm sure Monte will be serving up a rack of ribs, maybe a brisket or Boston butt plus the fixings. Enjoy the whale blubber.

@trainwreck66 I know of LC but never listened to him. One of our older members since gone used to use him as a profile pic. Meaningful lyrics, but not my style of music. I like melodic tunes, like Myron Floren playing the Beer Barrel Polka on accordion while Lawrence Welk dances with some big breasted lady from the studio audience. |

Best song of all time that's off the radar? I'll go with Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat". Sure it was a hit back when but the entire tune, lyrically and musically is a masterpiece. "On the morning of a Bogart movie, in a country where they turned back time, you go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre contemplating a crime."

I spent much of my life sacrificing time and money(small change) to guide the 2 boys to a path of success and knowing they're always loved. (One became an airline pilot, the other a tradesman). It doesn't matter what they become as long as they know they have been supported and loved. Do the same for your almost 8 year old and you'll never have a regret. |
