What's with that VOL coach shaking a gray trash can above his head?

VOLS start slow under Butch.
Defense has the advantage in game 1. Thus:
GT +3 first half and total Under 28 first half. |

OU's vulnerabilities are O-line and secondary. Same as most years.
Game delayed 90 minutes...I think it helps the home team. This just seems trappy...I'm betting Oklahoma here. |

Yeah, you see this almost every year when some conference's hopeful team is in a tussle first half...I've had a similar thought before. Even L'Ville might benefit more by getting a share of the kitty if FSU gets to the playoff. It's not much of a stretch to think they could let off the gas a few plays.
Also, I think first year coaches have a sort of perverse incentive to lose...but look good doing it. Too much first year success can be more of a problem than a boon. |

I think that game was fixed somewhere. Romo isn't the most likely suspect though.

What's keeping me from pulling the trigger on this bet is that I've never made money betting against Bill Freakin' Snyder.
I am the complete opposite here, I think Auburn looks really damn good and K State has maybe lost a step. |

Cuzcuzcuz if that one fumble by OU in the UT red zone would've properly been ruled a fumble, then the mojo would've shifted, OU wouldn't score and UT would've been able to drive the field...so it's basically a one-play 14-point swing. The other, more likely play, is when the OU db intercepted Worley in the EZ and ran it back 100 yards for an OU TD...another possible 14-point swing. I was there, and from that game and the replay I can point to a half-dozen or so one-inch situations that would've made the score a blowout more appropriate to the domination I saw on the field.
