"What you have described has happened to every experienced bettor many, many, many times."
not "many" -- maybe once and if you ever screw up again then you're not too experienced or too smart

In either of the injuries the supportive soft tissue around his toe is most likely stretched/damaged to the point that it's not supporting the joint which is critical for being able to run, cut or push off of that foot. Toe injuries are some of the worst injuries a receiver can have and take time to heal ometimes requiring surgery. I played 4 years of college ball and had a turf toe injury that kept me out 3/4 of a season. Anyone out there that has had one can tell you it's a brutal injury because you push off, plant, cut or do anything going forward that doesnt aggravate it, extremely painful. I will be surprised if he gives it a go and shocked if he is effective in the least regardless of the injury sprain, turf toe dislocation...doesn't matter...needs to heal

no he won't AND neither will rivers just drop the ball in his own endzone for a TD that lets the colts back into the game that was in the process of being an easy Charger win. and since that time chambers and jackson have now emerged as threats to go along with tomlinson on the ground. can't wait to see when 5 foot 8 sanders hits 288 pound gates replacement Manumaleuna a couple of times. methinks sanders won't be throwing himself as hard after getting steamrollered. |

Denver Post Friday
Pats and Colts vs. world "Shanahan said there was a huge gap between New England and Indianapolis, and every other NFL team, including his Broncos. He also said the Chargers could beat
the top two provided they played their best game. "
--
every single talking head not only discounts the chargers but thinks colts will blow
them out. these so-called experts forget that 1 year ago this weekend the almost
identical chargers team was considered the best team in football. and then
because of bonehead playcalling by shottenheimer and cameron and an idiot d-
back mccree intercepting not knocking down a pass, the patriots undeservedly
beat them. san diego has won 7 in a row right now. defense is great. they beat
colts last 2 meetings. the previous meeting in indianapolis 2 years ago, they
knocked the undefeated 13-0 colts from the unbeaten ranks. san diego is 8-3
playing in indy. even without gates if he doesnt play, last week tennessee led
them 6-0 and after gates got hurt chargers scored 17 points to win 17-6. Gates
only caught 2 passes in the game, his 288 pound replacement Manumaleuna then
caught 2 passes for 5 yards more than Gates. chargers are the team under the so-
called experts radar not the colts. besides chargers can beat the patriots too and
also have in the past. whoever wins the colts/chargers game will beat the patriots
next week.
note 1- only reason colts got back in the game late last time was idiot playcalling
of chargers and terrible play of rivers(including dropping the ball trying to pass in
his own endzone) in the 4th quarter that let them back in game.
note 2 - gates has not been the main weapon this year as in the past.

that money that that moved the line down 2 points that night was obviously right
derek anderson singlehandedly gave this game away. 4 interceptions. 2 in red zone. 2 that set up 13 points for bengals in closing minutes of 1st half.
did that money know that derek anderson would be all they needed?

someone else asked. why has this line dropped to 1 point from 3? there are no late injuries announced to now? this makes no sense except serious money may have just been bet on the bengals?
