You've been doing well, but you're like a minor leaguer trying to make it to the big leagues. You gotta have a big Week 3 before you make it to the show.

I'm thinking yeah I'll give this Buddy Wright guy a chance. He knows his stuff. I take a money line parlay with Auburn. Sure Auburn is going to beat South Florida easy. Not so much Buddy! You Suck!

Just because you win a bet doesn't mean it's the right bet. Anyone who watched the UCLA-BYU game knows that BYU was the correct pick and those who picked the Bruins got fuckin lucky.

Come on Wizer, Matrix got fuckin lucky. BYU has the ball 4th quarter about to make it 24-20 and dude gets blind sided and coughs it up. Then UCLA gets a donation td with a minute left. Come on. BYU was the correct pick there.

I could coach Michigan better than Lloyd Carr. Michigan got taken behind the woodshed by Oregon. Go Ducks baby. Pac-10 is the shit. Big Ten sucks my left nut.

The Matrix is the shit. We all know that. But dude gets lucky with UCLA covering. Anyone who watched that game knows that there is no way in hell UCLA should've covered that game. Let's not make him out to be the Jesus Christ of handicapping until we see him kick ass in Week 3.

Matrix is awesome but he should've been 3-2 . BYU was the correct pick

Matrix you are the shit but you got really fucking lucky tonight because BYU should've covered. They were down 20-17 about to score and the qb fumbles. Then UCLA scores a fuckin garbage touchdown with a minute and a half left.

Damn Cal should've covered. They were up 20 points with 4 minutes left and the wheels fell off. Oregon looking awesome. Boise not so much. Washington is way better than I thought they were.

Wow, what a disasterous day yesterday. My top picks went 0-5. I had Minnesota and they were ahead 10-4 going into the ninth and lost 11-10. I had the Dodgers and they were ahead 3-1 going into the 7th and lost 5-4. Had the Cards and they were ahead 2-1 in the 6th and lost 4-2. My dog pick was the Royals, and they were tied 2-2 in the 7th and lost 3-2. Been really unlucky lately. Maybe you guys should look at my picks and take the opposite.
Yesterday - Top 5 Picks - 0-5. All picks - 6-11.
Current Record ATS - 366-336. +$6,720. Dropped to Top 9 percentile on wagerline.com.
Top 5 picks today -
1) Chicago Cubs -113 - Zambrano has been horrible lately but I gotta take him as only a slight favorite at Pitt.
2) Kansas City+145 - I took the Royals yesterday as a big dog and they lost but only by a run. I like them again today at home with Bannister on the hill.
3) Texas -112 - I like Texas here. The pitching match up is pretty even with Gaudin vs Gabbard. Rangers are 40-32 at home.
4) LA Angels +120 - This is just a hunch here. Sabathia is awesome, and Santana isn't, but Santana didn't allow a run in his last start. I had been waiting to see the Santana of last year and maybe he is back. And you know the Angels kick butt at home-that's a given..
5) Arizona -102 - This should be a very close game, but I gotta give a slight edge to the Dbacks at home.

I hear ya, but that was against Colorado State. ASU held Colorado to 3 points last year at Colorado. The final was 21-3. ASU held San Jose State to 3 points in Week 1. Colorado scored more than 20 points only 4 times last year. Unless Colorado's offense improved a ton from last year, I don't see them competing with ASU.

Thanks bro. When I posted this earlier people disagreed with the BYU and WSU picks, but you're the first person to disagree with ASU. Why do you like Colorado in that game?

Most people are on UCLA, but I took BYU +7.5. I do think it will be close. BYU beat Oregon 38-8 in the bowl game and beat TCU by 14 on the road last year. They are legit. Zona is supposed to be a much improved team this year and BYU worked them too.

I follow the Pac-10 closely so I'm betting on every Pac-10 game starting in Week 2. I got off to a tough start when Oregon State sucked it up in Cincy. I overestimated the Beavs and underestimated the Bearcats. Here are the rest of my Pac-10 Picks.
Current Record: 0-1
Saturday:
California -13.5 at Colorado State - Cal's offense was awesome in an easy win vs a good Tennessee team. Colorado State lost a close game vs rival Colorado in a battle of two doormats. I think Cal rolls again. The line opened at 14.5 and is now at 13.5. I guess people are expecting a Cal letdown. I don't think so. Pick: California -14
Oregon +7 at Michigan - I know a lot of people are taking Michigan because they are coming off that embarrasing loss to App State, but I like Oregon in this game. I know Michigan will be fired up and ready to play, but if Michigan can't stop App State's offense how in the world are they going to stop Oregon's high powered offense? The line opened at 6 and moved to 10 because everyone was on Michigan. Now everyone is on Oregon and the line is back down to 7. I got Oregon at +9.5 a couple days ago. Pick: Oregon +9.5
Wasington +3 vs Boise State - This is an interesting match up. Washington showed it's a much improved team with it's blowout win at Syracuse. Boise State lost a lot from last year and it's hard to judge them against an inferior opponent like Weber State in Week 1. I like Boise State in this game just because they have really built a strong program there and frankly Washington's program has gone the opposite direction. Washington's program is making strides, but isn't quite there yet. Pick: Boise State -3
UCLA -7.5 vs BYU - Everyone is disagreeing with this pick. When are people going to admit the mormans can play? Do you realize that BYU has won 11 in a row and was 10-2 last year? Their worst lost last year was at Boston College by 7 points. They beat then No. 17 TCU on the road by 14. They beat Utah on the road. They beat Oregon 38-8 in the bowl game. By the way UCLA lost to Oregon last year. Everyone is saying BYU's offense sucked against Arizona in Week 1 only scoring 20 poins and winning 20-7. Well you could make the argument that Arizona has a better defense than UCLA so that doesn't mean anything to me. Pick: BYU +7.5
Washington State -14.5 vs San Diego State in Seattle - Some people are also disagreeing with this pick. Yes Wazzu is my favorite squad because I went there, but come on, this is San Diego State we are talking about. They were 3-9 last year. They were 0-6 on the road last year. Of those 6 losses only 1 was by less than 14 points. Even though this game is in Seattle, it is a road game for them. 99 percent of the people in the stands are going to be Coug fans. I know the Cougs haven't covered in Seattle, but they will in this game. In week 1, WSU played with Wisconsin for about three quarters. The game was much closer than the 42-21 score would indicate. I like the Cougars to cover this line. They should score a lot of points on SDSU, who hasn't played yet, but really struggled last year. Bettors are on the Cougs because the line moved from -13.5 to -14.5. Luckily I got it at -13.5 Pick: Washington State -13.5
Arizona State -15.5 vs Colorado - The good news for Colorado was that they won their opening game. The bad news was that it was against Colorado State. ASU easily covered the spread last week vs San Jose State, winning 45-3. The Dennis Erickson era is underway and they look like a team to be reckoned with. This game opened at -14 and is now at -15.5. I got it at -14.5. Pick: Arizona State -14.5 |

Nice work today. I was going to take your picks but I thought the Rutgers game started at 5 pm. Damn! I actually already bet on BYU +7.5 so I gotta stick with that pick. Everyone thinks I'm an idiot for taking the mormans, and since you are also on UCLA maybe they are right. Anyway, I will take your other 4 picks. Good luck.

That's sick. I had Philly the other day when they blew an 8-2 lead in the ninth. I am the unluckiest guy.

I am so F*CKIN pissed right now. I had the Phillies the other day when they blew an 8-2 lead in the 8th and now I have the Twins blow a 10-4 lead in the ninth!

What the F*CK is going on in Chicago? The Twins were up 10-4 going into the bottom of the ninth and now it's 10-9. No outs.
